Caucus may confuse some Kentuckians: Kentucky generally does primaries. And will, in fact, do one in May. But they haven’t caucused in over 30 years. The presidential race will be the only race residents will vote on Saturday. All other races will be done during the May primaries.  WSAZ explains how the KY caucus will work and how it’s different from some other states that caucus. Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., who dropped out of the presidential race is actually paying for Saturday’s caucus. His name will be on the ballot in May.

Debate number 11 tonight: Find it on Fox with Megyn Kelly, Chris Wallace and Bret Baier moderating.  It starts around 9pm ET. You know the drill. Have plenty of snacks and beverages on hand along with copies of any drinking game rules.  Our four remaining candidates will be on stage. This debate is being held in Detroit, MI. And if you miss tonight’s don’t worry. There’s another one next week. Mar. 10th in FL.

Christie AWOL:  A 7th NJ newspaper demands Gov. Chris Christie to resign. Mainly because he won’t stay at home. NJ .com is not kind to Christie:

“We face two more years under a governor that is wandering in the wilderness, looking for some escape hatch from New Jersey so that he can join the bigger game.”

He was gone 72 percent of the days in 2015, and even more often during the start of this year.”

The site said when Christie stood by Trump at a press conference Super Tuesday he “looked like he had been taken hostage or hit in the head.”

Over 75,000 petition for Bill Clinton’s arrest:  The petition at Change.org  actually had over 85,000 signatures when I last checked.  It calls for arresting and prosecuting the former President for allegedly violating MA election laws.  There were several reports where Clinton went into polling places and talked with poll workers, and took pictures. State officials have said he acted legally because he never handed out any materials supporting his wife. (It’s not often you have calls for the arrest of a former president and his wife who is currently a  presidential candidate, at the same time. Although, granted, for different reasons.)

Second verse, same as the first: Trump again threatens to run Independent.  The Donald said on ‘Morning Joe’ today that he’s “being treated unfairly” by Republican establishment.

But if I leave, if I go, regardless of independent, which I may do — I mean, may or may not. But if I go, I will tell you, these millions of people that joined, they’re all coming with me.”

Shorter Trump: If he leaves the Republican party, he’s taking a bunch of  Democrats with him. Or something.

Security hawks pen letter to Donald Trump. More than 75 member’s of the “Republican national security community” have signed a letter outlining numerous security issues they have with Trump as President. The group cites his positions on torture, waging trade wars, admiration for foreign dictators, and equating business experience with foreign policy knowledge as reasons they do not support him. A copy of the letter, shown here at War on the Rocks, also claims:

He is fundamentally dishonest. Evidence of this includes his attempts to deny positions he has unquestionably taken in the past, including on the 2003 Iraq war and the 2011 Libyan conflict. We accept that views evolve over time, but this is simply misrepresentation.”

  • Quickhits: The U.S. Atty’s office has charged Raheem McClain of Missouri in connection with posting this on Craigslist: “If you have some kids you aren’t claiming, I will pay you $750 each to claim them on my income tax.”  Guess you can find anything on Craigslist.
  • A Philly hospital is teaching residents battlefield first aid to help victims of gun violence. Applying tourniquets, proper dragging techniques and positioning in a car are designed to get victims to hospitals quicker and save more lives.
  • Today is National Anthem Day: Always held on the day congress made the Star-Spangled Banner our national anthem. Worst version 7/25/1990 Roseanne Barr at a Padres game. Barr says it was a joke. (Actually, it was a patriotic disaster.)
