One Week Later: CNN STILL Has Not Reprimanded Chris "Fredo" Cuomo

If you didn’t know it before, you know now that the “C” in CNN does NOT stand for CREDIBILITY.

One week after CNN host non-extraordinaire Chris Cuomo went on a verbal tirade about being called “Fredo” and threatened to throw the person that uttered that word “I’ll f–king throw you down these stairs like a f–king punk”, CNN has still not done anything about it. Last week they did offer this weak-kneed excuse for an employee of theirs who suggested he would do bodily harm on someone. by saying…

“Chris Cuomo defended himself when he was verbally attacked with the use of an ethnic slur in an orchestrated setup. We completely support him.”

He defended himself from being called a fictional character in a movie by doing the most stereotypical thing in a movie by threatening to mess another human being up? I covered this last week here at Red State with CNN Supports Violence Being Threatened By Its Host Chris “Fredo” Cuomo.

Some may think this is just moi or others finding any excuse to “pick” on CNN but this is really not the case nor is this a small thing.

We currently in this country have a divide that seems to be growing wider by the day in terms of politics that is in large part driven by LANGUAGE. We can’t seem to agree on terms that have been universally accepted and understood for millennia.

Under NO circumstances in the history of the big blue marble that we have called Earth (or at least from 1972 on) has the name or term “Fredo” been considered an “ethnic slur.” Never. Not once.

However, Cuomo’s reaction to this was just about as bad as you could witness and the only thing worse would have been him acting upon his rage-driven mania and actually hitting someone. Would CNN have acted then? Or just dropped another drivel excuse of supporting one of their own for the cause?

As I stated in my previous article when this first happened, I was not looking for Fredo to get fired being everyone has a bad day. However, this silence and hoping it goes away is a horrible way for media companies to exist and it should not be tolerated. You can’t threaten violence and not even get a slap on the wrist.

Unless, of course, you work for a liberal news network that pretends to report on the news objectively.
