Watch: Vindman Lost to a Deranged Pink-Megaphone Socialist Who Takes Her Kids to Drag Shows

Meet Angie Nixon.

She's a 42-year-old Democratic Socialist of America (DSA) member, a Florida state representative from Jacksonville, and she just won the Democrat Senate nomination with roughly 56 percent to Alexander Vindman’s 44 percent, despite having been outspent by about $16 million to $1 million.

On paper, she seems like the kind of candidate many Democrat voters are favoring in the 2026 primaries. She's a socialist who spouts all the right radical platitudes: she's for abolishing ICE, Medicare for All, rent controls, and cutting aid to Israel. All the right buzzwords for a radically far-left candidate hoping to recreate the zeitgeist of Zohran Mamdani.

And, sure, her sending Vindman down in electoral flames was fun to watch. Dig a little deeper into who Angie Nixon really is and, well, her unhinged behavior would make even Jasmine Crockett blush. The phrase non compos mentis comes to mind.

First, a brief bio of Nixon. A mother of two, she was first elected to the Florida House in 2020 and has built her political identity as a far-left activist masquerading as a legislator, frequently clashing with Gov. Ron DeSantis and Florida Republicans. More recently, she decided to join the DSA before launching her Senate bid.

Sen. Ashley Moody (R-FL), the incumbent who will face off against Nixon in the November general election, highlighted one particularly unhinged moment when Nixon paraded around the floor of the Florida House shouting into a pink megaphone during a legislative session earlier this year. (Notice the side eye from her female colleague.)

This is not a serious woman.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) posted an alarming video of Nixon bragging about bringing her young children to drag shows because there's no sexualization going on at those things.

Well, that's disturbing.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) shared a clip of Nixon concluding in her Tuesday night victory speech that her win means Floridians are embracing socialism.

And, of course, the legacy media was tripping over each other to get to her following her win. Here she is sounding awfully aggressive.

This isn't a Carnival cruise, ma'am.

So, it looks like the Democrats have done it again. They've chosen yet another loud, performative socialist activist whose political résumé seems built for viral clips rather than serious governance.

The next few months are going to be wild.
