The Purpose For Ivanka Trump's Secret Meeting With Head Of Planned Parenthood

Because she’s a liberal. And her husband is a liberal. And because this is the agenda they intend to push, with their oversized influence on the president.

I just needed to get that out of the way, first.

A new report says that President Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, met with the head ghoul of Planned Parenthood, Cecile Richards, shortly after Trump’s inauguration.

It was Ivanka who reached out to Richards, hoping to quell any unease Richards may have been having, regarding Trump’s threats to defund the infanticide ring.

From The Hill:

“The purpose of the meeting, from Cecile’s point of view, was to make sure that Ivanka fully understood what Planned Parenthood does, how it is funded, and why it would be a terrible idea for Planned Parenthood to be removed from being able to see Medicaid patients,” Dawn Laguens told Politico.

“The main thing that Cecile Richards was doing was explaining that the money doesn’t actually go to abortions — we get reimbursed the same way a hospital does. We were clearing up misinformation about how this works.”

Bull.

They keep feeding that line about their services, but recent undercover investigations have proven, over and over again, that the shining jewel of Planned Parenthood’s services is abortion.

Medicaid patients can get better care, and a wider variety of care from community health centers. All they lack is the abortion factor.

Ivanka and Richards haven’t spoken since that initial meeting, but Ivanka has since appeared in interviews and while not advocating for abortion, outright, when asked, she expressed that she doesn’t necessarily agree with all of her father’s views on hot button issues, like abortion, and that he knows when she doesn’t agree.

Richards has called for Ivanka to be more vocal.

“It’s time for Ivanka to … stand for women,” Richards said last month, calling her silence on the GOP legislation “deafening.”

Speaking at a conference in New York on Wednesday (Women in the World, or some such nuttiness), Richards said:

“Anyone who works in this White House is responsible for addressing why women are in the crosshairs of basically every single policy we’ve seen in this administration,” Richards said.

Yeah. As a woman, I’m going to say I don’t see what Richards sees.

And if her goal was really to help women, she’d be just as thrilled to see tax funds go to community health centers.

The good news is that a March 30, 2017 Senate vote, with Vice President Pence as the tie breaking vote, overturned the Obama administration’s Title X regulation, which forced states to provide funding for Planned Parenthood.

This clears the way for Congress to defund that loathsome organization.
