Even though the 2020 election is not even close to being settled and court challenges and potential action by state legislatures loom large, President Trump is signaling that, win or lose, he is going nowhere.

Trump backed McDaniel for RNC chair in 2017 after she helped deliver her home state of Michigan in the 2016 presidential election in which he defeated Democrat Hillary Clinton.

A source familiar with internal discussions said Trump was telling allies he planned to run for president in 2024 and could announce it by the end of the year.

The U.S. Constitution allows presidents to serve two four-year terms and they do not have to be consecutive.

A long list of Republicans are said to be considering a run for the 2024 presidential election, including Trump’s own vice president, Mike Pence.

U.S. news media have called the 2020 race for Biden, but Trump is contesting the results in a series of legal challenges in a handful of battleground states – in an attempt to back his unsupported claims of widespread voting fraud and irregularities.

Members of the RNC are due to meet late in January to vote on whether to keep McDaniel as chair. The vote will be a test of how powerful Trump remains in the party after he leaves office in January, should the legal challenges fail.

I find this to be completely plausible. Even though the election is not settled and Joe Biden is not president-elect despite what his fellatistas in the media tell us, Trump is certainly plotting next steps in the eventuality that things don’t go his way.

Barring some catastrophic health event (and one wonders what would even qualify considering Joe Biden’s obvious onset of dementia not being of interest to the national media) or President Trump turning p***y and conceding defeat (see President Trump Must Never Concede This Election to Joe Biden), he is the runaway frontrunner for the 2024 nomination.

President Trump’s popularity within the GOP is at record levels. He demonstrated that he can assemble a coalition built on working class Americans and overpower a decaying and moribund GOP establishment that had long since existed simply as a gift for its members. He brought Black and Hispanic Americans into the GOP in unprecedented numbers. He’s the only Republican on the national stage who can fill a stadium and cause car and boat caravans to spontaneously appear. He has a massive grassroots organization that will be fired up, angry, vengeful and anxious to take on President Harris should the election challenges not prove successful.
