Barack Obama is a great believer in stereotypes… if you happen to be of a race or ethnicity or occupation that is not in vogue with the liberal intelligensia (hahahaha, I love writing that). If you are rural and white your opposition to socialism — actually under Obama it is more akin to fascism than socialism, but that is a different post — is not based in tradition or culture or morality or patriotism. You are a pathetic racist loser:

It’s not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

Police officers “act stupidly” when they observe something that could be a burglary. A young thuglet tries to beat down a “white Hispanic” and gets what he worked very hard to get, and he looks like the imaginary son of Obama. Michael Brown, who has been proven beyond any scrap of doubt to have attacked a police officer, was a young scholar with a great future but for stupid police.

Try that same logic and apply it to Muslims or the mentally unbalanced “transgenders” or to homosexual marriage and see what happens.

On Wednesday, Obama was on his farewell victory tour in Elkhart, Indiana, and decided to throw around more stereotypes.

“We have been hearing this story for decades. Tales about welfare queens, talking about takers, talking about the ’47 percent.’ It’s the story that is broadcast every day on some cable news stations, on right-wing radio. It’s pumped into cars and bars and VFW halls all across America, and right here in Elkhart. And if you’re hearing that story all the time, you start believing it.”

You’ve been hearing the story for decades because it has been true for decades. Fraud in the “social safety net” is endemic. 45% of Americans don’t pay one freakin cent in federal income tax. In Obama’s first term, 2.5 million jobs were added but 5.9 million people began drawing disability. You don’t have to listen to “right wing radio” to know that. You only have to be conscious a few hours a month.

Be that as it may, Obama had to indulge in another of his stereotypes. He obviously sees the VFW as a collection of fat, elderly white guys drinking cheap beer in some dive-like bar and bitching about the past glory being forgotten and all the uppity blacks and women who are calling the shots these days and yelling at the kids to get off the lawn. All the while listening to GlenBeckMichaelSavageRushLimbaughSeanHannity. It is hard to draw any other conclusion as to why Obama would single out a chartered veterans service organization as the poster child consumer of right wing information. Especially since the VFW PAC, since 2000, has given more money to Democrats than to Republicans. In 2008, with a former PW on the GOP ticket, VFW PAC donations went strongly to the Democrats.

This is typical and vintage Obama. He remains, at heart, a rabble rouser, an Alinskyite community organizer. He is a man bereft of honor or integrity and has nothing to offer but people to demonize. I don’t care who wins in November but I’ll be damned glad to see the last of this cretinous poseur.
