I’ve learned the hard way that what we think we’re seeing on social media or in the polls doesn’t always turn into reality on election day, but this seems to me like yet another indication that Americans are ready to kick this president to the curb.
The next installment of Mean Girls: Sports Edition comes on June 16 when the Sky travel to Indianapolis to play the Fever. One suspects the officials will tightly call the game, but we shall see.

White House What's Up
President Joe Biden has a quiet morning and afternoon schedule-wise, but in the evening, he and First Lady Jill will host the "White House Congressional Picnic," where he'll deliver opening remarks. Then, they'll jet off to France ahead of planned D-Day commemorations.
Full Court Press...
It's Day 2 for Hunter Biden's gun trial. The prosecution and defense will deliver their opening statements, and then the prosecution will call its first witness, FBI special agent Erika Jensen, who is expected to introduce evidence, including text messages from in and around the time of the gun purchase that show Biden was using crack in that timeframe.
And in the Southern District of New York, Sen. Bob Menendez's (D-NJ) corruption trial proceeds apace.

It's a busy Tuesday on the primary front — we've got presidential and/or congressional primaries in Washington, D.C., and in several states: Iowa, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, and South Dakota. We'll bring you the live results tonight, so stay tuned.

I'm enlisting your help, Dear Readers. I went with "Lawyers, Guns, and Money" for the headline of Day 1 of Hunter's trial. I'm hoping to continue in that vein and have a little fun with it. Not that any of this is really funny, but we've got to try and find some bright spots in dark times, no? So, with that in mind, I'm inviting other song suggestions for headline titles.
