Biden Tries to Embarrass Trump on TikTok, Is Quickly Decimated by Harsh Reality

If you can’t beat 'em, join 'em—that seems to be Donald Trump’s attitude as he signed up for the social media site TikTok despite earlier wanting it banned because of its Chinese Community Party influence and the possibility of rampant spying on American citizens by the CCP.

Biden has faced a similar conundrum, and while he hasn’t signed up for a personal account, his campaign made a profile five months ago. But in yet another slap in the face to the befuddled president’s reelection efforts, the GOP presumptive nominee quickly smashed Biden’s follower totals in just one day:

By the numbers: Trump's video had racked up 2.2 million likes and over 38 million views as of 1:15 ET Sunday.

Trump's account has gained 2.1 million followers since last night's launch. That's more than six times the followers of the Biden campaign's account, which launched in February.

The former president posted about his well-received visit to UFC30, where he met with UFC President Dana White:

The video begins with Ultimate Fighting Championship President Dana White announcing at Trump's side: "The president is now on TikTok."

What they're saying: "We will leave no front undefended ... [T]his represents the continued outreach to a younger audience consuming pro-Trump and anti-Biden content," Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung said.

"There's no place better than a UFC event to launch President Trump's TikTok ... [H]e received a hero's welcome and thousands of fans cheered him on."

Can't imagine that Biden has received a welcome like this in his entire life:

But it gets worse for Biden, as on Sunday night, his team tried to embarrass Trump with years-old (unproven) allegations that the former president once used a racial slur against a contestant on his show, “The Apprentice.” Old Joe was quickly ratioed into next month.

Must-watch:

Sometimes karma is a beast. Look at the comments: they describe exactly what so many Americans are feeling right now. “I can’t afford eggs,” one user laments. “'Why is my rent expensive?'” asks another. “Why did Joe Biden say poor kids are just as smart as white kids?” (Yes, the race-baiter-in-chief actually said that in 2019.)

I don’t pretend to be a TikTok expert—like most people with jobs and families and responsibilities, I don’t have time to scroll through cat videos and transgender activists screeching about how someone inadvertently misgendered them. Most of what I do see comes from the excellent Twitter account Libs of TikTok, where account owner Chaya Raichik regularly exposes some of the insanity running rampant through our culture.

But if there’s a channel to help Trump rid the nation of this disastrous president, he's probably wise to take advantage of it, even if it should rightfully be banned eventually or sold to an American company. Biden’s dual embarrassments on the social media platform, however, show just how tired folks in this country are of the failed, despotic, divisive leader. I’ve learned the hard way that what we think we’re seeing on social media or in the polls doesn’t always turn into reality on election day, but this seems to me like yet another indication that Americans are ready to kick this president to the curb.
