We are in a moment where the country is greatly divided, with the chief political opponent of Joe Biden being targeted with ridiculous lawfare that has interfered in the election.
Biden is also openly defying the Supreme Court on student loan debt and bragging about it. The Democrats are targeting Supreme Court justices, trying to intimidate them because the Democrats can't control the Court.
We face a critical election for the future of our nation to beat back the insanity and the blowing up of all norms that the Democrats have brought to bear.
Our republic is in great peril at this moment in history. What's been happening to former president Donald Trump is just one of the most prominent examples.
But even at this moment, even as Rep. John Rose (R-TN) addressed those very concerning issues in an impassioned speech in the U.S. House on Monday, speaking on behalf of Trump, he inadvertently had what had to be one of the funniest moments on the floor of Congress, courtesy of his little son, Guy, 6, right behind him in the chamber. This is straight-up adorable.
So sorry I was slow responding to your email, I was tied up watching this over and over again pic.twitter.com/1MT81CS440

“I rise today to address the terrible precedent set in our country four days ago. Using the justice system to engage in a politically driven prosecution and now conviction of a major political party nominee running for president, especially on the charges brought against Donald Trump should gravely concern every member of this body, as well as every American across our country,” Rep. Rose said.
Rose explained that he had told Guy to smile for the camera for his little brother, who was at home, presumably watching on C-SPAN.
This is what I get for telling my son Guy to smile at the camera for his little brother 🤷♂️ https://t.co/L8sLBDJt35

But my guess is that Rose didn't foresee how into it Guy would get, giving us some great moments. We're so used to seeing so much nonsense on the floor of Congress from the politicians, sometimes it's nice just to see a little humanity like this. This kid certainly has a gift for expression and he wasn't holding back. He's clearly having a lot of fun as he turns himself into an instant hit and gets a lot of fans.
People on both sides of the aisle loved it.

We needed this kid to attend Biden's State of the Union. Put him in the Speaker's chair. https://t.co/Ij3vEQVrFi

Little Guy is going to be following his father around all week, trying to help out and give his wife a little relief so we may get to see more fun moments.
