White House What's Up

President Joe Biden's taking a page from his legislative colleagues' book and heading to the beach on Thursday. Joe and Jill will be sunning in Rehoboth for the weekend, it appears. No word on whether Joe will scurry back to the White House to wax poetic on his chief political opponent if the Manhattan jury sees fit to convict him...

Speaking of that Manhattan trial, today's the big day. Or...it could be. The jury is deliberating. While the morning is set to start off with portions of testimony being reread to them (at their request) and some clarification regarding the jury instructions (imagine needing that), they'll continue their deliberations after that, and we could have a verdict sometime on Thursday. Or not. They could carry over into Friday — possibly even beyond. Rest assured, RedState will be ready to bring you the latest news as it becomes available.

But it isn't just in Manhattan that there are judicial goings on Thursday — it's another decision handdown day for the Supreme Court. The court still has 35 decisions to deliver before the end of June, so expect at least three more today. And be sure to look for the Skinny on SCOTUS to follow.

Between Trump's trial, SCOTUS rulings, and Hunter Biden's impending gun trial, I'm a cross between a kid in a candy store and a squirrel on crack. So, that's all I've got today — forgive me.
