Biden's Disgusting Plotting Over Possible 'Statement' About Trump Verdict

Politico broke a story that Joe Biden is going to end his "silence" about the trials of former President Donald Trump, when a verdict comes in for the "hush money" trial, according to "four people familiar with internal deliberations."

The verdict may come as early as next week, with the closing arguments on Tuesday:

Biden intends to initially address the verdict in a White House setting — not a campaign one — to show his statement isn’t political, according to the people, who were granted anonymity to discuss internal deliberations.

If the jury convicts Trump, Biden’s team will then argue that the result shows Trump is ill-suited for office and that it demonstrates the extremes to which the former president would go to win again. The campaign’s social media team is considering leveraging the line of attack further, with discussions underway about referring to the ex-president online as “Convicted Felon Donald Trump.”

His team is also preparing for a barrage of Republican and Trump attacks if the former president’s acquitted or if there’s a hung jury.

The message would vary depending upon the ruling but they want you to get the message that the "system worked and that the process should be respected":

“This is an important moment and the president first and foremost needs to stress that the American system works, even and especially in an election year,” said one of the four people granted anonymity to discuss those deliberations. “And in a measured way, it becomes part of his argument against Trump too: Do Americans really want this?”

Oh, what a bunch of malarkey.

First of all, what "silence" is this report talking about? Do you mean the silence where he taunts Trump over having to be at the trial except on Wednesdays?

Notice how the DNC account repeated that taunt and put a "fire" emoji, thinking this was a good thing he said.

They haven't been silent. And can we laugh again about how many edits there were, because Biden wasn't capable of doing a 14-second clip without a problem?

Politico's response to that? "Beyond a few jokes, the Biden team has largely stuck to that edict."

Uh-huh. It's just a joke, guys, that Biden is trying to taunt his opponent over lawfare that is being pursued by a Democratic DA.

It's probably just a joke when Democrats like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) say that Trump can't campaign because he's tied up with trials.

Silence, my eye.

But beyond that, does he really think that trying to attack Trump from the White House makes it less political? It's a political attack and where he says it from wouldn't change that. And it's only going to confirm what people already believe -- that that's what the lawfare is about, trying to defeat Trump when they can't beat him at the ballot box. It also makes me think he thinks there's going to be a conviction.

But if you object or call it out, then you're not accepting that the "system" works here. If you're concerned about trials against political opponents and how that's antithetical to the very nature of America, then it's you who has a problem. Oh, and they're considering insulting Trump if he's convicted, just to top it all off.

Do they have any sense at all? Do they really think it's a good idea to try to take a lap on Trump, when people already think it's political? They would just reemphasize that. But that's Joe, virtually always wrong.
