As the Schumer Shutdown rolls on, the woman who has been floated as a potential 2028 primary challenger to the embattled Senate Minority Leader has herself been up to some pretty obnoxious mischief in recent days.
Like most Democrats, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) doesn't like White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, who has been on a tear over the last several weeks regarding what the Trump administration views as activist left-wing judges trying to hamstring the president's agenda in the courts.
On Sunday, AOC took to her Instagram account to take a swipe at Miller for being "short," in her view, declaring that ridiculing what she called "insecure masculinity" was one way to cut the left's political opponents down to size.
"I’ve never seen that guy in real life, but he looks like he’s, like, 4'10. And he looks like he is angry about the fact that he's 4'10. And he looks like he is so mad that he is 4'10 that he's taken that anger out at any other population possible," the purported "Squad" leader proclaimed.

Though Miller laughed it off during a Monday interview with Fox News hostess Laura Ingraham, while also swiping back and clarifying he was actually 5'10, AOC initially doubled down, saying she couldn't believe Fox News had him watch the clip of her stating what she did. "I'm crying," she posted to X.
But as it turns out, while her comments sparked mockery in turn from conservatives, they actually backfired with her leftist supporters, some of whom accused her in so many words of... body-shaming Miller and short folks in general. As a result, on Tuesday, AOC tried to clarify it by laughably claiming she wasn't talking about Miller's physical height but his "spiritual height":
“I want to express my love for the short king community,” she claimed, attempting to clarify her comments. “I don’t believe in body shaming. I am talking about how big or small someone is on the inside.”
The Congresswoman went on to explain that her original statement was intended as a bizarre metaphor for character, pivoting to an even more confusing concept she termed "spiritual height."
“Like, for example, I have no idea how tall Andrew Tate is. No idea at all. But that guy looks to me like 5’3. Whereas, physically, men of smaller stature can come across — they are spiritually six-foot,” she added. “If you’re a good dad, if you stand with women, if you’re not belittling immigrants, you’re like 6’3 spiritually.”

What makes this especially amusing is that AOC previously criticized people over allegedly "policing" her body, alleging in 2021, after her "Tax the Rich" dress controversy, that "I and my body have been so heavily and relentlessly policed from all corners politically since the moment I won my election."
As always with Democrats, it's (D)ifferent when they do it. Still, one has to laugh at how the woke Democrat dogma surrounding "triggering" people over mere differences in opinion came back to bite her.
Editor’s Note: The Schumer Shutdown is here. Rather than put the American people first, Chuck Schumer and the radical Democrats forced a government shutdown for healthcare for illegals. They own this.
