DeSantis Lands Solid Jabs on Biden, ‘Hair Gel’ Newsom Over Migrant Busing 'Investigation' Calls

The hyperventilating from the media and Democrats over Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott shipping illegal immigrants Biden has dumped in America off to Vice President Kamala Harris’ residence and Martha’s Vineyard respectively is still ongoing in what can only be described as a full-blown display of ugly but entirely predictable NIMBYism for all the country to see.

As we previously reported, despite once proudly boasting of being a sanctuary city for illegal immigrants, Martha’s Vineyard wasted very little time kicking off GoFundMe fundraising efforts and kicking out the migrants by way of transporting them off to Joint Base Cape Cod thanks to assistance from the Massachusetts National Guard, who were called in by Governor Charlie Baker.

Meanwhile, California Gov. Gavin Newsom, who keeps trying but failing to one up DeSantis in their escalating war of words, got busy calling on the DOJ to “investigate” DeSantis’ and Abbott’s actions, alleging that the migrants might have been “kidnapped” or something. And in Washington, D.C., the Biden administration is said to be exploring “litigation options” against both DeSantis and Abbott. Biden called their actions “un-American.”

As you can imagine, DeSantis had something to say about both Biden and Newsom during a press conference held in Florida Friday.

In the below clip, DeSantis just laid into Joe Biden for “scrambling to get his cabinet together” after the migrants were sent to Martha’s Vineyard. DeSantis correctly pointed out that in contrast there has been no sense of urgency from the Biden administration as millions upon millions of illegal immigrants have poured over the border under the Biden administration, there was no scrambling from the Biden administration when migrants were found dead in the backs of trailers in Texas, there was no scrambling from the Biden administration over the millions of Americans who have been victimized by the “criminal element” of illegal aliens who have crossed the border, and no scrambling over the tragic fentanyl deaths that have happened in part thanks to the record amounts that have been illegally smuggled into the country.

“It’s only when you have 50 illegal aliens end up in a wealthy rich sanctuary enclave that he (Biden) decides to scramble on this,” DeSantis observed.

And towards the end of the presser when DeSantis was asked about Newsom’s call for a DOJ investigation and him calling DeSantis a “disgrace,” DeSantis again responded accordingly:

All well-deserved cracks about Newsom’s hair aside, DeSantis’ message is absolutely on point and is exactly the way GOP governors who are facing these issues and who have decided to bus or fly the migrants the Biden administration is dumping on their cities to sanctuary cities should respond. Don’t be apologetic about it and point out the reality of the situation, which DeSantis did Thursday and again Friday. It shouldn’t be on border states (and primarily red states) to shoulder all the burden the Biden administration is putting on them with his dangerous and lax border security policies.

Another point that I think should be amplified by these GOP governors including DeSantis is in how often the dumping of the migrants in their respective states is often happening in the middle of the night and reportedly without giving local and state officials any advance notice, nor any information on who coordinated the flights.

In fact, News 4 Jacksonville documented nearly a year ago how some 78 flights had made their way to Florida, usually landing at night when they thought no one would be looking.

“News4Jax found these charter flights have been coming and going from Jacksonville International Airport for months usually at night.”

If anyone should be read the riot act here over busing and flying migrants all across the country allegedly under false pretenses it should be the Biden administration, which for a year and a half now has been doing just that in states like Texas, Florida, Iowa, Indiana, Tennessee, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania just to name a few:

Amazing how suddenly the panic and outrage from The Usual Suspects starts once illegal immigrants land in the backyards of so-called “tolerant” leftists, isn’t it?
