We’ve written before about the appallingly biased media “reporting” that has been done by supposedly objective national media outlets about New York Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s handling of the Wuhan virus crisis in his state.

The man could literally walk into a crowded New York City hospital maskless and hug doctors who are in the middle of treating coronavirus patients, and instead of condemning him for being unsafe, his apologists on the left and in the media would gush about his compassion for medical professionals and continue to refer to him as his state’s hero and “Luv Guv.”

Washington Post “conservative” columnist Jennifer Rubin is no exception to that rule. Rubin, who in April accused President Trump of “killing” people over his handling of the outbreak, has made her adoration of Gov. Cuomo no secret. But the latest instance of her fangirling over Cuomo was perhaps the most delusional of all her praises of his approach to combating the virus:

Fox News senior meteorologist Janice Dean, who has been focused on holding Cuomo accountable for his disastrous nursing home policy – which she believes is responsible the deaths of her in-laws, went off:

Dean wasn’t the only one, either:

32,000 people died and half of that number (at least) was unnecessary. The number is zero now because all the vulnerable are DEAD.

Absolutely reprehensible.

And then, NY exported the disease to the country.

There’s also the issue of Cuomo adopting similar policies on containing the virus in his state now that he condemned other states (like Florida and Rhode Island) for trying to implement when it was exploding in NY:

A reminder that Cuomo threatened to sue neighboring states threatening to do a way more lenient version of this to New Yorkers, at the precise moment that New York was exporting the virus across the country.

It’s simply amazing – and disgusting – how often Cuomo gets away with so much hypocrisy and lies thanks to a media obsessed with pinning his failures on President Trump.

Even more amazingly, the fawning over Cuomo from just about everyone in the MSM and on the Never Trumper right has continued in spite of the overwhelming evidence that exists thanks to investigations by left-leaning organizations like Pro Publica and the normally reliable left-wing NY Times. In short, they have reported that Gov. Cuomo’s gross mismanagement of the crisis from the word “go” was deeply flawed and mired in petty political one-upsmanship games with NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio, whose handling of the outbreak was equally deplorable for similar reasons.

Their combined failures inarguably led to the virus’s deadly spread not just throughout their state but also across the entire country:
