Because most national news outlets – especially CNN – are looking the other way on the story, Fox News senior meteorologist Janice Dean has made it her mission to expose Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) and his disastrous March nursing home mandate which paved the way for over 5,000 nursing home/assisted living facility deaths in New York, including her two in-laws.
For those who haven’t watched it, Dean talked about the tragic deaths of her husband’s parents in a moving interview she recently did with Tucker Carlson:
Video: @JaniceDean is the best. Her strength and poise were inspiring. She spoke with #Tucker tonight about her late in-laws and the NY nursing home scandal that far too many corners of the news media have ignored in favor of hero worship for the Cuomo administration pic.twitter.com/ofLdCMq3JF

She also wrote a tribute to them, which you can read here.
Cuomo has despicably tried to blame President Trump for the fact that nursing homes in New York were forced to accept patients infected with the Wuhan coronavirus after an executive order put in place on March 25th at Cuomo’s direction.
More recently, Gov. Cuomo has taken to frequently talking about how it’s important to wear a mask during the pandemic – this in spite of the fact that he apparently has issues when it comes to how to properly wear one.
Not strictly following CDC guidelines apparently runs in the family, but I digress.
Cuomo took to the Twitter machine this morning and commented on an ABC News story that talked about how he wore a mask to his Wednesday meeting with President Trump:
Wear a mask. It's the right thing to do. https://t.co/vT4hEezgyZ

It didn’t take long for Dean to make an astute observation about how his face was not the only thing he was hiding:
Your face is not the only thing you’re covering up. https://t.co/Bt2EskYUwP

She also took him to task in tweets she posted later, noting that more people were finally catching on to Cuomo’s failed leadership during the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak:
People are finally starting to catch on. @NYGovCuomo was untouchable before. But there’s so much proof he’s one of the worst leaders this state and country has ever had. https://t.co/MTbfvRAyjh

You exposed thousands of our elderly loved ones to the virus thanks to your order of forcing recovering Covid 19 patients into nursing homes. How awesome though that you brought some famous Hollywood actors to your press conference to talk about wearing masks. https://t.co/kqEgVJJvpT
