On Tuesday, I wrote about how CNN “journalist” Jim Acosta and President Trump had another one of their infamous yet entertaining rows during a press conference that was held yesterday during Trump’s visit to India, where he is visiting to talk trade deals, tariffs, and to tour the country.

To quickly recap: Acosta tried his usual grandstanding routine and attempted to upstage the president, and Trump wasn’t having it.

Though Fox News’ Chris Wallace is not a big fan of Trump’s, he nevertheless slammed Acosta’s actions during a media discussion at a Columbia University event last night:

“I was horrified by [Acosta],” Wallace said at a Columbia University event in New York City hosted by the Common Ground Committee on Tuesday night. “It’s not our job to get in fights with presidents. It’s not our job to one-up presidents. It’s our job to report on presidents.”

“But to the degree we have responded to his attacks on us with attacks or advocacy in kind, there’s a huge mistake, and I think adds to people questioning the credibility of the media,” the “Fox News Sunday” host said.

Matt Dornic, who is listed as CNN’s “Vice President, Communications and Digital Partnerships” on their website, got word of Wallace’s criticisms and took to the Twitter machine to insinuate that Wallace wasn’t a “real journalist” because Wallace “literally works for state TV”:

Dornic’s flimsy response to Wallace’s comments didn’t go over too well with people familiar with CNN’s ratings and their reputation as a mouthpiece for the DNC:

And besides, CNN is literally obsessed with President Trump’s eating habits. So there.
