As I’ve said before, Democrat politicos, liberal commentators and the mainstream media all love to gush about the supposed political savvy of Hillary Clinton, but those of us in the cheap seats who marvel at her uncanny ability stick her foot in her mouth at every opportunity see things from a much more realistic perspective.

Over the last few months, Clinton has had the audacity to lecture people against “witness intimidation” in the midst of speculation that Clinton pal Jeffrey Epstein didn’t kill himself (some have suggested the Clinton machine had a hand in his death). And in December when the articles of impeachment were announced, Clinton tweeted that “no one is above the law”, which left a lot of people scratching their heads considering the laundry list of things she’s gotten away with.

Simply put, the failed 2016 Democratic presidential nominee is the queen of epic self-awareness fails, and this week has been no exception.

On Wednesday, Clinton took to the Twitter machine to accuse Senate Republicans of an impeachment “cover-up.” In her tweet, she whined about how Republicans “cast vote after vote to block evidence and testimony”:

Of course, she deliberately wrote this without adding the “new” qualifying term to her note about evidence and witnesses, and also without pointing out that even Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said the calling of witnesses could be subject to change depending on how things go in the Senate trial, and depending on whether or not Democrats would agree to having the Bidens and the so-called “whistleblower” testify.

But Twitter users took her to the woodshed for another reason – that pesky lack of self-awareness that seems to follow her everywhere she goes:

“Sit this one out” is probably the best advice Hillary will ever get. Too bad for her that she simply won’t listen.
