So the Governor of Oregon strikes a deal with the Department of Homeland Security that Oregon State Police will clear and control the streets and properties around the Hatfield Federal Courthouse in Portland, and suddenly a huge Antifa rally spontaneously pops up 105 miles to the south in Springfield, Oregon, just outside Eugene?

But they must have found their way back to Portland in time for the regularly scheduled programming because it looks like a typical crowd has assembled.

That video shows what has normally been the camo dressed BORTAC guys coming out from the Courthouse.  But there is another surprise in the works for the protesters.  It looks like Oregon State Police and Portland PD have cut off their normal routes of retreat.

Comment on this video says that the federal agents seem to be applying a tactic to shoot set off a gas cannister on the ground in the immediate vicinity of an arrest, and then pin the subject to the ground in the haze of tear gas so they are not able to escape its effects.

The videos seem to reflect a lower level of violence overall from the protesters.  But I doubt Federal Officials in Washington will see anything in these videos to convince them the buildings are now safe from the protesters and the federal agents can depart.
