Long-absent actor and a cult favorite, Rick Moranis was randomly attacked in New York this morning as he walked down the street.  The incident, caught on security video, shows Moranis walking down the sidewalk when an unknown male turns and punches Moranis in the face, knocking him to the ground.  (video below)

The unknown man then continues calmly down the sidewalk as if nothing happened.

The suspect in the attacks managed to piss off most people, including at least two superheroes, as both Captain America and Deadpool weighed in on their anger at this attack.

Moranis recently made a commercial for Ryan Reynolds’ Mint Mobile in what is anticipated to be the first in many things as Moranis returns to acting after taking time off to raise his children in the wake of his wife’s death.  Now that his kids are grown, Moranis has signaled he is ready to return to the big screen.  A comedy actor, Moranis has been in movies such as ‘Honey, I Shrunk the Kids’, ‘Ghostbusters’, and ‘Spaceballs’
