It’s common to tell shopworn jokes about the contradiction inherent with Military Intelligence. The DIA deserves meritorious exemption from these humorous barbs. The DIA told President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that the Benghazi Consulate was at risk 10 days before it was attacked. They also predicted the rise of ISIS 17 months before President Obama crowned them the JV. They currently seem a whole heck of a lot smarter than the brilliant, 1st rate, Ivy-League Credentialed, coruscatingly brilliant intellects who they advised.

So the people in charge were given the straight dope on what was happening as a partial result of the brilliant orchestration President Obama provided for The Arab Spring. They didn’t like data, it therefore, had to be wrong. Except that reality isn’t another Clinton Fecal Fertilizer tale. Americans died, ISIS got their Caliphate up and running, and the predictably disingenuous Smartest Woman Evah To Enter Politics™ (SWEEP) suddenly developed one of her recurring memory challenges. [mc_name name=’Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’P000603′ ] probed a delicate subject matter which triggered SWEEP’s self-preservation amnesia reflex in the exchange below.

Sen. Rand Paul: My question is, is the US involved in any procuring of weapons, transfer of weapons, buying, selling anyhow transferring weapons to Turkey out of Libya?
Hillary Clinton: To Turkey? I’ll have to take that question for the record. That’s, nobody’s ever raised that with me.
Sen. Rand Paul: It’s been in news reports that ships have been leaving from Libya and that they may have weapons. And what I’d like to know is, that annex that was close by, were they involved with procuring, buying, selling, obtaining weapons and were any of these weapons being transferred to other countries? Any countries, Turkey included?
Hillary Clinton: Well, Senator you’ll have to direct that question to the agency that ran the annex. And, I will see what information was available.
Sen. Rand Paul: You’re saying you don’t know?

Well, Senator Paul very quickly figured out why Secretary Clinton didn’t know these very important things that our DIA personnel were thoughtful enough to pass along. They were sitting on her not-so-Top Secret private email server. The one she illegally used for official business because SWEEP couldn’t properly configure a Crackberry. So that means just about every important world leader *except* SWEEP had read and digested all the information these emails generously contained. In response to this colossal error, Rand Paul sets the example for what America’s electorate needs to do with Hillary Clinton.

This is entirely condign. SWEEP should not have continued in her grade long enough to have the chance to fall on her sword. The US Army has an entire brigade of parachute infantry in Vicenza, Italy less than 6 hours’ time of flight from where the attack took place on our consulate. There was no excuse for that consulate not to have been either evacuated or protected with an overwhelming military force. Especially, given that Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton had !10 DAYS! Advance notice that an attack was imminent.
