Egypt, America and Revolutionary War

People Who Care Win Battles
People Who Care Win Battles

“A revolution is not a dinner party, or writing an essay, or painting a picture, or doing embroidery; it cannot be so refined, so leisurely and gentle, so temperate, kind, courteous, restrained and magnanimous. A revolution is an insurrection, an act of violence by which one class overthrows another.”

Mao Tse-Tung (HT: Goodreads.com)

I do not care is how an honest human being describes a personal lack of commitment to a given issue.
I.DO.NOT.CARE!
is a disingenuous way of telling other people that they had BETTER not care OE ELSE! The or else remains undefined as long as the society retains a patina of Potemkin civility to paper over its convulsing collapse into competing factions. In Egypt, people like the I.DO.NOT.CARE poster here at Redstate don’t have to lie. They just chuck Molotov cocktails at the people they personally disdain.

You are being commanded NOT.TO.CARE for the same reason that America’s first public monument to atheism was erected right next to a display of The Ten Commandments at Bradford County Courthouse. You are being commanded NOT.TO.CARE for the same reason that Wendy Davis is now hailed as a hero –because she cares. Team Infanticide is a-ballin’ with a passion. Peggy Noonan explains below.

Behind the façade of comity, behind the genteel robust debates and behind all the false premises we’ve been fed about gay marriage, there is a revolution underway in America. We are being fundamentally and forcibly transformed into a Post-Christian nation. The people who desire this transformation desire it greatly and will do whatever is necessary to do it.

American politics absent the influence of Christianity becomes an Ops-Research problem aimed at figuring out who gets brutalized by legitimate functions of state. Kevin Williamson of NRO explains its essence below.

The question of violence is of course the fundamental question of politics. Politics is organized violence, the purpose of which is, in theory, to protect us from violence organized by others. The functions that most of us across the Anglo-American political spectrum regard as inherently governmental — police and military actions — are the ones most closely associated with open violence. The most solemn actions a government can take — sending a convict to death, sending a soldier to war — are violent.

Anyone, anywhere who has played football, rugby or any other contact sport will tell you when the gruesome injuries occur –when you do not care. Violence, whether man-to-man on the rugby pitch or by paperwork proxy in front of the USSC works the same way. If you really do not care, they will come for you, they will catch you and may God have mercy upon you if you are truly their prey.

In the end, an indifferent society gets ripped asunder like a sick gazelle on the African Savannah. There is no mercy for the truly indifferent. We see that in Egypt where Buyer’s Remorse is expressed with fire-bombings and AK-47 fire. Either Morsi will win, or Morsi will die. In either eventuality, all the indifferent Egyptians who do not pick one side and then care will lie dead and not be missed.

So we must not allow Justice Kennedy, Wendy Davis or even perverted, old Mao-Tse Tung, to be excused, praised, celebrated or in any way described as something other than the sick and despicable pile of sub-optimal DNA that they truly are. Otherwise, we lose our traditions, we lose another layer that separates us from the thugs in the streets of Cairo. Fight back. Demean and decry these hideous people. This isn’t a dinner party. If YOU.DO.NOT.CARE., do not expect the rest of the world to care what happens to you.
