If there has ever been a bigger bunch of whining, crying doomsayers over losing a political election than the Hollywood left in the aftermath of Donald Trump winning the presidency, I haven’t seen it. There have been the straight appeals to shouts of ‘I Will Survive” from regularly released videos featuring some of Hollywood’s best known faces.

But Nicole Kidman hasn’t been one of them and when asked in an interview about her new movie, Lion, she states why.

Kidman first states that she has always been reticent to comment on politics but says, “He’s [Donald Trump] now elected and we, as a country, need to support whoever is president because that’s what the country is based on.” She added that “however that happened, he’s there and let’s go.”

That’s right. Trump is president-elect. As much as that smarts, we all have to deal with it. There’s things to do besides cry over that fact. Now, let’s go.
