The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) released a 25-page open letter this week, addressed to the American people.
As we reported earlier, the letter was a festival of delusion.
Most people likely wouldn't make it past the first page, where they claim they've "won the war" against the U.S. But if you continued, they claim they won because of "the Quran’s superior doctrine and worldview, the Iranian nation’s faith in and unity around the tenets of the Quran, and the competent and righteous leadership of a man of God."
Alrighty, now. That will truly appeal to an American audience. And therein lies the first problem with the delusional letter - it's written like an appeal to how an Islamist thinks, not the way an American would think. Writing a 25-page rant to begin with shows you don't understand how best to reach Americans in an effective way.
Did you know Mojtaba Khamenei is a "God-fearing, compassionate, and kind man, a deeply spiritual ascetic, a courageous leader, and a deeply knowledgeable and wise scholar," and has the leadership the U.S. lacks? Don't you dare call him cardboard or gay - or wonder why his great leadership can't even be seen, and neither can he.
The letter even pushed a 9/11 conspiracy, claiming "a significant number of very smart experts have characterized [it] as a false-flag operation orchestrated by American intelligence agencies."
The letter even claimed that their economy has never been better, but the U.S. is on the edge of economic collapse.
Yes, this is the crap they are pushing to try to convince you of their points.
But the crux of the letter was urging Americans to vote against President Donald Trump. The IRGC urged people to rise against the government. The letter pointed to leftist demonstrations as evidence that people were rising.
God will come to the aid of the American people if they decide to change course. Thankfully, Americans are waking up to the truth. Over the past two years, Americans have participated in numerous demonstrations in cities across the U.S. to express their outrage at Israel’s genocidal actions in Gaza. Moreover, the “No Kings” rallies that swept across the U.S. last year were a nationwide repudiation of the burgeoning autocratic tendencies within the American government. These powerful manifestations of collective action are evidence of a national awakening spreading through the U.S.
Can I laugh any more? Do they really believe that? No one gives a darn about any of those protests. "No Kings" is the same group that has been doing periodic protests - to no real effect - for years. Anyone who lives in the U.S. knows that.
But Iran is aligning with/pushing Democrat/leftist propaganda, and they did that throughout the letter.
So here's the thing.
If they've already won the battle against us, why would they need to urge us to vote against Trump? The reason they're doing that is that they know he's hurting them. They know they're in trouble. Or they wouldn't bother. It's a desperate propaganda move. But they also don't get it - they're confessing he's boxed them in, when they have to try this ridiculous gambit.
Then, too, the letter seems to show more delusion regarding what effect the midterm elections could have on the U.S. fighting them. Trump is not on the ballot. Even if the Democrats win in the midterms, Trump is still in charge of the executive branch and the prosecution of the battle.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the regime doesn't seem to understand the nature of how our system works.
Marco Rubio:

I think the Iranians are under this illusion that Democrats are going to win in November and Trump will no longer be able to do things against them.
I just don't think they understand our system very well. pic.twitter.com/Yo6iDTnu49
But then here's another issue. They might not have been surrendering/being honest in making a deal because they're hoping that the Democrats will come in and save them - as indeed Barack Obama did with the Iran deal. Democrat/leftist/media propaganda may have given them hope to hold out and think they had a chance. That propaganda may have been standing in the way of a real resolution. But Democrats are so concentrated on attacking Trump, they don't consider, or perhaps don't care, how their actions may hurt America.
President Trump said he thought the Iranian military action would end after the midterms. That sounded like a strange comment when he made it. Why would that be? Well, this is why it could be. Once past the midterms, when the regime realizes there is no salvation coming from the Democrats, even if the Democrats win, but especially if they lose, then we may see reality finally hit them like a truck.
