Rabid, Lifetime Democrat James Carville Just Put His Party on Notice

The rise of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and other radicals has thrown the Democrat Party into turmoil.

We've seen the DSA admitting quite openly how they want to upend critical principles that uphold our system of government. Yet, we hear many Democrats, in response, say that the party is a "big tent." Translation? We'll let anyone in if we think it helps our power.

But one who is standing up against it is the frequently ranting Democrat operative, James Carville. But in this case, all of his ranting is well deserved. He knows his party is committing political suicide, and he just put them on notice about it.

"I am NOT going to be in the same party as Hasan Piker! I can tell you that right now!" Carville said during an interview on Fox.

"If he becomes a force within the Democratic Party, I'm out of here! I have no intention of ever being in the same political party with that guy!"

This might be the only time I've ever agreed with James Carville.

But I think Carville is going to be packing his bags, because Piker already is clearly a "force" - backing the two socialists who won their primaries in New York City. Piker has also campaigned for and with Abdul El-Sayed, who has the lead for the Democratic nomination in Michigan. Carville is already late.

Carville said he thought an overwhelming number of Democrats agreed with him. Maybe, but about one-third of the party is now identifying as Democratic Socialists. Carville is deluding himself in this respect, and Piker probably has more influence in the party than Carville does at this point. Most of the rest of the Democrat Party thinks they can co-exist with these characters.

"This idea that we're going to 'seize the means of production' - just look at the DSA platform," Carville argued. "You don't have to look any further than that."

"One thing I can tell you for certain, Hasan Piker and James Carville are not going to be in the same political party. One of us is going to leave — it might even be me!"

When Democrats are even losing James Carville, you know things are bad.

Prepare for the Democrats to implode over this issue, with sane Democrats either not voting or fleeing to the Republicans in the midterms. It just may be a question of how many flip. But it's going to make a difference in things like the Michigan Senate race.
