Joe Biden left Scranton for Pittsburgh on Wednesday, to go talk at an event with steelworkers there.
But before he left Scranton and then in Pittsburgh, he told a creepy story about his uncle and the cannibals, suggesting that his uncle's body may not have been recovered because he might have been eaten by the cannibals. He also threw in a bunch of other things about the story that weren't true, according to the records. Compared to his various tall tales, this was a truly unhinged one.

But that wasn't the only concerning response he had in Scranton before he took off. He also was asked about the Ukraine and Israel aid bills, which are pending in Congress. "What do you think about the separate bills for Ukraine and Israel aid? Are you confident that it's going to get through?" a reporter asked.
Biden says he can't comment on "separate bills for Ukraine and Israel aid" because nobody has briefed him yet.

"I am getting briefed on it when I get on the plane," Biden said. "That's why I was talking to my staff. I'll tell you then."
Then he shuffles away, looking so old and out of it. .
Now, you know if that had been former President Donald Trump or frankly any other leader, he would have expounded on it extemporaneously. Even Biden, who is so hot for Ukraine aid, should be able to say something, even if it's just "It's so important to pass [he thinks]." But that would require the ability to think on his feet without a major screwup, which he isn't able to do. This proves it once again.
He couldn't even say anything at all, because he claims he hasn't been briefed on it yet.
Translation? I have to go have my staff brief me on the facts and what I'm supposed to say, before I say anything and get myself in trouble by talking when I don't have my script. Does he even know what's going on? I doubt it.
We've seen how detailed his scripts are. The other day, when he was meeting with the Iraqi prime minister, he read completely from his notes. The cheat sheet, which was caught on camera, even directed Biden to "pause" for the translator to translate what he had just said for the prime minister.
Meanwhile, there's all kinds of machinations going on with the aid bills, and it looks like they may end up trying to combine them again. Republicans need to take charge and stand up to the nonsense from the Democrats. When you get answers like this from Biden, you know he's not even in charge. He'll get briefed and then they'll run something out under his name once he gets his marching orders on the subject. That's the broken system that we're operating under right now on such important issues.
We'll keep you updated on what happens with the bills in the House.
