WATCH: Anti-Israel Activists Go After Jerry Seinfeld, He Gives Them the Perfect Response

Actor/comedian Jerry Seinfeld was in NYC on the Upper East Side on Sunday night, attending an event featuring Bari Weiss, the founder of the Free Press.

That's interesting in and of itself. It's perhaps an indication that Seinfeld is thinking a bit outside of the box of the mainstream press narrative, and that's always good to see.

But anti-Israel activists were targeting the event because it featured Weiss, with whom they have an issue.

How twisted are they? They blame Weiss for a professor, Refaat Alareer, being killed in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza in December. How? It doesn't make any sense, but who says they operate with any kind of logic?

Alareer tweeted in late October that if he was killed, “I blame Bari Weiss and her likes.” His tweet was in response to Weiss criticizing Alareer for joking in an earlier tweet about whether an Israeli baby was burned alive in an oven “with or without baking soda” during the Oct. 7 attack on Israel.

Alareer reportedly mocked victims of the terror attack and hours after the assault said in a BBC interview that Palestinian resistance was “legitimate and moral.”

They think this makes Weiss somehow responsible for him being killed, which is bizarre. But they don't seem to have a problem with Alareer allegedly mocking victims.

So they were upset that Seinfeld dared to show up to listen to Weiss and others at the event.

As he left the event, they screamed at him, "Genocide supporter, you support genocide!" and "Free Palestine!"

Now, that's ironic given that their position of wanting a ceasefire helps the Hamas terrorists who slaughtered more than 1,200 people on Oct. 7 in Israel — the Hamas terrorists who are, in fact, trying to commit "genocide" against Israel.

I have to hand it to Seinfeld, however — he took it in stride, smiling and waving at them, as he got in his car. Nicely done, Sir: Treat them like the bizarre people that they are and completely blow them off.

That appeared to infuriate them. “F–k you, you support genocide,” one of them ranted.

They even called him "Nazi scum!" But the people who actually killed Jews and want to wipe out Israel apparently are not "Nazi scum."  The irony is monumental.

Seinfeld also smiled and waved at them here, as you can see on X.

How do these activists think protesting Jerry Seinfeld or Bari Weiss is going to advance what they want? It does absolutely nothing. At this point, it's just about them screaming at Jewish people and being cult-like. It doesn't make much sense, except they think in their minds they're "doing something." It's a salve to their psyche.

Two of the people were arrested during the protest on Sunday, the police said.

Anti-Israel activists also protested Seinfeld during one of his stand-up appearances in Syracuse in December, similarly claiming there that he was supporting "genocide" for being supportive of Israel.
