Now, most normal folks are with their families on Thanksgiving if they don't have to work.
They're not obsessing and having meltdowns on social media.
And then there's Adam Kinzinger, who seems to want to make a career out of being an X troll (all the while criticizing owner Elon Musk, by the way) and selling his soul to be a CNN commentator. At the end of October, we reported how he was "mentally preparing" to leave X and what Musk said in response. But as we predicted, surprise, surprise, he's still on the platform.
As our friends over at our sister site Twitchy observed, on Thanksgiving eve, Kinzinger decided he was going to take a whole video to go after Kari Lake and Charlie Kirk for talking about terrorism in regard to the Rainbow Bridge incident and how Joe Biden isn't securing the border.
Emergency Video: shame on @KariLake @charliekirk11 and anyone whose first reaction to border incident was to jump to conclusions and blame…. JOE BIDEN.

Not whoever did it. But Joe friggin Biden. They were giddy with excitement. You need some self reflection. Shame pic.twitter.com/L3UojXWA5A
They didn't say it was "all Joe Biden," and they weren't "giddy" about it. That's Kinzinger spin. He should have some shame for miscasting what they said. But he doesn't because he's shameless. And they were talking about terrorism because the initial Fox reports were that it was believed to be "attempted terrorism." Yes, Fox walked back those reports.
But even though this is now believed not to be terrorism, it doesn't change the basic observation that Lake made that Joe Biden has failed to secure the border properly. If Kinzinger had cared more about than that, he would have spent his time calling Biden out for that while he still was in Congress. That has caused all kinds of problems and threats to this country. Yet that doesn't seem to concern Kinzinger in this conversation; he'd rather attack Republicans than talk about the truth in regard to Biden's failures.
Instead, what Kinzinger was doing when he was in office his last year was concentrating on going after former President Donald Trump. Yet now he wants to go after Kirk and Lake for criticizing a real problem under Biden. Talk about projection.
He talks about grifters. Um, Adam? You're posting on Thanksgiving Eve to attack Republicans and defend Democrats, and you work now for CNN. You're the one who might need a little self-reflection.
Then Kinzinger counsels folks at the end of the video to try not to yell at their families. Um, isn't this the same guy who claimed he was disowned by members of his own family? Maybe, again, he should right his own house.
Kari Lake and others had great responses to his blathering and crying on the subject.
Just a reminder that this is what you spent the last two years of your political career doing instead of working on behalf of your constituents.
