Joe Biden had a lot of embarrassing moments during his trip to Europe that included the NATO Summit and being led around by other world leaders. We wrote about some of those moments, including when he got Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s name wrong and snapped at two different reporters on two different occasions—even on his last stop in Finland. He also almost tripped on the airplane stairs again as he was leaving Finland, despite the fact that he was using the short stairs with fewer steps.
But then we might have hit the weirdest moment of the trip with what Biden did just before he left Finland to come back to the United States. As we reported, he bent in to a little girl in her mother’s arms and then started nibbling on the poor girl, who clearly wanted nothing to do with him. Biden was greeting embassy staff members and their families.
Sometimes, we don’t see the rest of the media picking up on all the strange things that Biden does, but this video originally came from Newsmax. One of their hosts, Rob Schmitt had a hard time even getting through the segment, as he described how “weird” this all was from Joe Biden.
“[Biden] spotted a little girl and thought it would be a good idea to do this,” Schmitt said, seemingly hesitant to even put words to describe what this was. Check the chyrons, too, in this video; they don’t hold back.

“Oh, God, I don’t know what that was,” Schmitt said, struggling to keep it together. “But we’ll play it again though,” he said. He notes that the child “doesn’t want anything to do with Biden.” Look at that face, he said, filling in what the girl seemed to be thinking, “Get away from me! Who are you?”
But then Schmitt asked that question I think we all want to know: why does this keep happening? Why does Biden keep having this weird behavior with little girls? Why can’t his staff stop him, and if they can’t, how deeply engrained and problematic is this behavior?
“It happens a lot,” Schmitt said. “Here’s a trip down memory lane.”
He then showed multiple different instances of Biden making strange comments including the Corn Pop story, where he talks about kids rubbing his legs when he was an adult lifeguard, saying that a little girl who was about six years old looked like she was about 19.
Biden said, “She was 12, I was 30”, when describing how he met someone in the audience; sniffing Sen. Chris Coons'(D-DE) young daughter and then saying to her that he hoped to see her back home (in Delaware); he says there’s no such thing as someone else’s child, then finishing off with him saying how he’s “loved kids jumping on my lap.”
“Biden’s a weird guy,” Schmitt said with a sigh. “I don’t know what else to say about it. Don’t bring your kids around, he might bite their back.”
After all the stories, his staff had to have told him to curtail such behavior; if he can’t, it’s a compulsion. And that’s more than a little concerning.
