Elon Musk has been very transparent about saying he wants Twitter to be a town square where everyone has a voice, unlike what it has been previously under its prior ownership where it seems to have been about being an arm of the Democratic party in terms of what it allowed to be shared. That’s why the left has been so upset with his takeover of the site.

We’ve seen all kinds of tantrums from Rep. Alexandria Ocaso-Cortez (D-NY) accusing him of somehow blocking her ability to communicate on Twitter to Kathy Griffin trying to impersonate him and his response to her.

However, Musk is likely to trigger them even more with his latest remarks. Not because the remarks have anything to do with Twitter but because he just endorsed voting for a Republican Congress, as a check to Joe Biden.

He continued, explaining it’s independents who will decide the election.

Hardcore Democrats or Republicans never vote for the other side, so independent voters are the ones who actually decide who’s in charge!

Musk had previously said in May that he’d voted for Republicans, after historically voting overwhelmingly for Democrats. Then in June, he revealed he had voted for Rep. Mayra Flores (R-TX) and predicted a “massive red wave.” Looks like he might have been right on target if the numbers all prove out on Tuesday.

While he’s spoken about voting Republican before, this is causing a massive triggering of folks on the left saying this shows he isn’t fair.

Manipulating the vote because he has an opinion? So then what is suppressing things like news, like the Hunter Biden laptop? Do they remember how much Mark Zuckerberg invested to help the Democrats in prior elections? This is an opinion, nothing even close to that.

Musk’s comment is likely to further fuel the efforts to get Musk. We’ve already seen Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT), claiming that there needed to be an investigation because of “national security concerns” because of foreign investors who had already been involved in the site. For some reason, now the Democrats are concerned about that when they weren’t concerned before. The reality? They’re looking for ways to take him down if they can’t get him in line. They don’t want to give up any of the control they have had, particularly not on a site that has become so important to communication.
