Latest Response from Martha's Vineyard Lays Bare Liberal Hypocrisy

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis sent 50 illegal aliens to Martha’s Vineyard and that caused a meltdown of massive proportions on Thursday from the left. MSNBC’s Chris Hayes claimed that giving them a lift to the liberal vacation mecca was “deeply sick and dehumanizing.” CNN even compared them to the Holocaust in a bizarre stretch. This, even though the liberal enclave had claimed that all were welcome there, that “hate” has no place here.

Meanwhile, some on the left claimed that while the Republicans the town was treating the aliens with kindness by providing them shelter and food, leaving out the fact that “Republicans” and other folks in the border towns have been extending themselves for almost two years since Joe Biden opened the doors and has been letting everyone flood across the border.

But what was incredibly ironic and just screamed hypocrisy was they declared a public emergency for just the 50 people, their homelessness director claimed that the enclave with many wealthy homes didn’t have the facilities to house the people and they couldn’t even last a couple of days before they had to have the people moved out of the area. Gov. Charlie Baker they would be moving the 50 illegal aliens from Edgartown to Joint Base Cape Cod and would be activating the Massachusetts National Guard as part of the relief effort.

“JBCC is a facility already designated by MEMA as an emergency shelter in Barnstable County, and its existing infrastructure provides a safe temporary accommodation appropriate for the needs of families and individuals,” Baker said in a statement. “Additionally, the facility can provide dedicated space for access to legal services and other essential services such as basic healthcare.”

Look at all the media that has been largely missing when it comes to how the border towns have been inundated with hundreds of thousands of people. They even had 125 members of the National Guard helping out for 50 people.

The left has been flipping out calling the Republican governors’ sending them to liberal enclaves “human trafficking.” But I guess it isn’t “human trafficking” when they’re shipped away from the liberal enclave. Funny how that works.

So much for all the virtue signaling, they’re just ridiculous. Border towns have to deal with thousands in a day and Martha’s Vineyard flips out over 50. But Democrats haven’t cared until now about the millions pouring across the border. Now you finally got people like Lori Lightfoot saying that the Biden Administration has to do something about it all, that it’s a national problem. And that was the point of the exercise.
