The Royal Canadian Mounted Police are acknowledging the messages that were leaked out of a chat group “RCMP Musical Ride” that included officers joking about and cheering the abuse of protesters.
As we’ve reported there have been multiple instances where the police engaged in what appeared to be excessive force including beating and kicking people, hitting them with rifle butts, and — perhaps most infamously — running over people with their horses. The RCMP officers joked and laughed about it in their chat.
🚨BREAKING🚨 LEAKED RCMP MESSAGES

“Time for the protesters to hear our jackboots on the ground,” one officer joked. Another one responded, “Don’t kick all of them out until next weeks group gets our turn.” They spoke about the police running over the people with their horses, “just watched the horse video – that is awesome,” one member wrote. Another talked about how “we should practice that manoeuvre.” “Agreed!” was the response.
An officer who did not quite agree with this seems to have leaked the messages out.
The RCMP told Fox News they were investigating the matter. “The RCMP is aware of the material circulating on social media pertaining to a chat group that includes some of its members, and we can confirm that we are looking into the matter.” But they claimed, “This material is not representative of those who have committed themselves to serving Canadians with integrity and professionalism.”
Unfortunately, there were a fair number of police officers not conducting themselves with “integrity and professionalism” that we saw acting badly on video.
But they have the names of the folks in this group and as far as we know there isn’t even an announcement of a suspension pending investigation as you might normally get which has to make you wonder how seriously they are taking it.
The Special Investigations Unit, a civilian oversight authority, is also looking into the woman being run over by the Toronto Police Services horses who is alleging a “serious injury” as well as the reports of police using non-lethal rounds against the protesters in one instance. As we reported, the woman who was run over allegedly had a broken clavicle. A Rebel News reporter was hit with a baton three times and shot with what appeared to be a non-lethal round of some sort in another incident.
The man who helped set a lot of this abuse in motion because of his invocation of the Emergencies Act and demonizing the Freedom Convoy as racists with unacceptable views is now trying to remake himself into a “unifier” and champion of behaving with “decency.” There’s a “lesson” he thinks everyone should learn from what happened this month.

I think the “lesson” people are going to take away is that freedom is fragile and it can be snatched from you very quickly by people like Justin Trudeau.
