HOT TAKES: Ted Cruz Rips Fauci Apart After He Makes an Important COVID Admission

We’ve started to see a narrative shift with the Biden Administration when it comes to COVID and suddenly, some truths that we weren’t hearing before from them seem to be pouring out. We even saw Joe Biden’s chief of staff retweeting MSNBC’s Chris Hayes saying Omicron in the vaccinated was acting like the flu and that we don’t reorient our lives for the flu. Say, what? Yes, that’s what they’re trying to sell us now, after all the fear porn over the past year. The narrative is falling apart.

Dr. Anthony Fauci this week admitted an important truth about hospitalized children and COVID, detailing how the numbers are, in essence, jacked, in an interview with MSNBC’s Ayman Mohyeldin.

Fauci said that any kid who is hospitalized is tested and counted as being hospitalized with COVID, even if they were hospitalized for reasons that had nothing to do with COVID. So if they were there for a broken leg, they’re counted as hospitalized with COVID. Fauci admitted that was artificially overcounting and distorting the numbers of “hospitalizations.”

“And what we mean by that: If a child goes into the hospital, they automatically get tested for COVID and they get counted as a COVID-hospitalized individual, when, in fact, they may go in for a broken leg or appendicitis or something like that. So it’s over counting the number of children who are, quote, hospitalized with COVID as opposed to because of COVID,” Fauci explained.

Now, we knew that this was the way that some of the deaths were being counted because the Illinois Public Health Director explained it back in April 2020. But if you said this on social media, you might get labeled as pushing a conspiracy, even though it was demonstrably true. Now after almost two years, we’re finally hearing such an admission from Fauci himself?

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) asked a very important question about the timing of all this — why it was coming now after two years.

This followed Biden’s admitting that there was no “federal solution” — that a lot of things had to be left up to the states — despite Biden promising to shut down the virus. They can’t pretend that this information is new and so, once again, we have to say: why now? Yes, the “good people” (read that: liberals and Democratic politicians) are getting it but it’s more than that.

Can we guess now what’s coming up, what’s happening this year, and why the Democrats suddenly have to start cleaning up the political scenario to help their cause? Is there a shift underway to clear the decks before the midterms? It’s a day late and a dollar short, though, guys, if that’s what’s happening here. But you can’t stuff the genie back in the bottle and act as if the Biden Administration hasn’t made a complete mess of things, particularly over the past year with the crazy mandates and demonizing the unvaccinated. There’s a reason Biden’s numbers are in the basement — you can’t try to clean it up now and hope to fool anyone.
