I wrote yesterday about how Joe Biden put his foot in his mouth when trying to honor former Senator Chris Dodd at the University of Connecticut, saying that you could tell how someone treats people by how they treat waiters or waitresses. If you know Dodd’s past history, you know why that’s exactly the wrong thing to say.
Biden also made a weird comment about kids at a Hartford child care center and was heckled at various points in his Connecticut trip, by both folks on the right and folks on the left. There was definitely some ‘F Joe Biden’ working in the chants and in the signs people brought.
But while I was working on those stories, I came across this video and was immediately struck by it, and it was going a bit viral.

Now, Biden appears inordinately angry, even for the point he was trying to make, right?
But did you pick up on it? It’s manipulated. The forehead is manipulated to make him look darker and angrier, almost manic. This is why we have to check the origin of every tape if it isn’t from a trustworthy source. When we see stuff like this, we like to try to clear it up so no one is taken in by it.
We already have to deal with enough real crazy from Joe Biden. We don’t need fake crazy. But it did earn some funny reaction.

Although that was fake because it intensified the angry look, the actual video was still creepy enough that it merits its own comment. Biden does with that weird thing he does where he hunches over and moves closer to the podium, speaking more softly. He then starts shouting.
President Biden: "We have fewer Democracies in the world today than we did 15 years ago. Fewer. Not more, fewer." pic.twitter.com/Dicv7l1ARm

“We have fewer democracies in the world today then we did 15 years ago,” Biden said. He starts to shout,”Fewer! Not more! Fewer!” He then pounds the podium and looks around as though to make sure people are getting how consequential his words are. “It cannot be sustained,” he insists. Reality check? it isn’t up to you unless you want to police the world and upend every government you don’t like. I know that Biden and the Democrats want to control everything. But they can’t even do what they’re supposed to do in this country without messing everything up. But he continues, “That’s why from day one in my administration, I’ve taken concrete steps to put human rights back at the center of my foreign policy and reassert our moral leadership on the global stage. To lead, as Chris [Dodd] has so accurately said, ‘To lead with the power of our example and not the example of our power.'”
Biden truly has this warped perception of himself. He hasn’t done anything at all to help human rights — indeed he’s made things worse by giving recognition the to UN Human Rights Council, which is full of human rights abusers who are okay with anti-Semitism, as we noted on Friday. Talk about setting an example.
Biden has also worsened our relationship with long time allies like the U.K. and France by cutting them out of the loop, so much so that they condemned him in the House of Commons in the U.K and recalled the French ambassador in a historic rebuke. The example he set? Don’t trust the U.S. because they may fail in their commitments to their allies and leave people stranded and at the mercy of terrorists, even Americans. By knuckling under to the Taliban and not standing up for Americans or allies, he set an example of the power of weakness to incite the ambitions of our enemies.
