As we previously reported, Iran was completely blowing off the UN nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), refusing them access to surveillance images to their nuclear sites.
Iran previously had an agreement with the IAEA to hold images for the past three months until the question about possibly lifting sanctions was resolved. Iran then said they no longer would be allowing access to those images.
But now there’s word, it’s even worse than that.
According to a new IAEA report, they haven’t been able to access data that monitors Iran’s nuclear program since late February, not just with the surveillance cameras but also it has “not had access to the data from its online enrichment monitors and electronic seals, or had access to the measurement recordings registered by its installed measurement devices” since Feb. 23.
The IAEA had 2,000 tamper-proof seals on nuclear material and equipment that provided for electronic information to be communicated to inspectors. They also had automated measuring devices that generated data. Now that access has been cut off.
That’s not all.
The IAEA is also saying that Iran’s stockpile of enriched uranium is around 16 times the limit laid down in the 2015 nuclear deal.
On top of that, Iran refuses to explain traces of uranium found at several undeclared sites to the IAEA.
Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), said this was a “big problem.”
“We found traces of uranium that has been subject to industrial processing in different places, which had not been declared by Iran. That is a big problem…We have to get to the bottom of this [….]
“We know that something happened here. There is no way round it. We have found this. There was material here. When was this? What has happened with this equipment? Where is the material. They have to answer.”
The IAEA report is saying Iran hasn’t provided the “necessary explanation for the presence of the nuclear material particles at any of the three locations where the Agency has conducted complementary accesses (inspections).”
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out what’s going on here, there’s only one explanation for such levels of enrichment. They’re on their way to the bomb if they don’t already have it, and they’re hoping to stall the effort of the IAEA from figuring it out. But rather than complying, they’re saying that they want sanctions lifted before they provide anything. Imagine how insane that is. They’re violating every deal and the agreement with the IAEA but they think they can pressure the U.S. in so doing because Joe Biden is in charge and they know they got all they wanted from his prior boss, Barack Obama.
The troubling part? Biden already said he wants to lift sanctions and he probably will comply, so they will get even more money to prop up the mullahs and try to achieve their aims.
Meanwhile, this puts us on a very dangerous precipice if they have the bomb. Does Biden even understand this?
