According to the Daily Mail, Texas rancher John Sewell was doing an interview with Fox News’ Dana Perino about how the Biden immigration policies were adversely affecting his ranch on the border. But as he described the hardships with which they were dealing, he had a real-time example, as during the interview, federal agents stormed his property, chasing illegal aliens.

Perino began the interview by talking about Biden’s address to Congress and asking him what it was like to to be on the frontlines of all this.

Sewell said the CBP was basically telling them they’re on their own, that they need to speak to their Congress members, because all the CBP can do is implement policy. Obviously, right now the Biden policy is insane and leaving folks at the border, like Sewell, hanging out to dry.

But, as Perino began to read a statement from Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) criticizing Biden for not mentioning the border crisis during his Congressional address and calling on Biden to actually do something, you suddenly hear dogs barking in the background.

Then Sewell comes back on, saying that, right at that moment, federal agents were storming his property, chasing illegal aliens.

Sewell said: ‘Dana, I’m sorry, I had a group of guys coming through looking for some immigrants, you’re going to have to put it back at me again … we’re not getting the support as the US.

This is not panning out good for us. We’re under siege here. And when I say that, I’ve already got three this morning before breakfast.’

Sewell said that while he still calls the CBP when they have encounters with the illegal aliens, he says he’s nervous about how they can respond and what is now allowed.

From Mediaite:

“I obviously call the Border Patrol. That’s our first line of defense. And that’s another thing. You know, we’re nervous as to what we can get away with and what we can’t get away with. You know, these people — it seems like they have more rights than we do. It’s very unfortunate that we’re having to battle this and the CBP is telling us that all they do is enforce policy.

Well, if the policy from the administration is catch and release, let’s say, because that’s all we’re doing, we’re taking them back to the border, testing some, maybe all. I don’t know the true answer to that and turning them loose in the U.S., we’re not turning them back and I said before, these people are coming to you guys. They’re not staying here with us.”

Sewell said he had “never seen” it as bad as this before.

It’s astounding that Biden has let it get to this point, refusing to even call it a crisis. It’s so bad that there are folks streaming across this rancher’s land in the middle of the day. It’s so bad that even Sen. Mark Kelly, a rabid, reliable leftist Democrat, is even saying something must be done. But it’s still not clear that Biden is actually doing anything to stop this.
