Jen Psaki's Deplorable Response When Asked About Shooting and Rioting in Minnesota

We already saw the poor response of Democratic Minnesota Governor Tim Walz to the police shooting in Brooklyn Center of Daunte Wright and the subsequent rioting.

While he did call up the National Guard (which he didn’t do initially last year), he didn’t do anything to condemn the rioting, appeared to blame the police before the facts were known, and suggested it was about race.

As we reported, police believe it may have been a mistaken shooting, with the female officer believing that she was pulling her taser, but instead pulling her firearm. Not good.

So how did the White House respond? Or, should we say, how did White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki respond since she seems to be the face of the administration while Biden hides out somewhere avoiding anything challenging? Her remarks came before the breaking news about the mistaken shoot. When asked about the shooting Monday, Psaki’s response was very similar to that of Walz, failing to condemn the riots and violence.

From Townhall:

“We are incredibly saddened to hear about the loss of life at the hands of law enforcement in Minnesota yesterday,” Psaki said. “It is a reminder of the pain, the anger, the trauma, the exhaustion that many communities across the country have felt as we see these incidents continue to occur.”

She did say that Biden might be speaking on the matter later.

Again, what do we see missing here? Any condemnation of the rioting in response. She even seems to be justifying it because of “the pain, the anger, the trauma, the exhaustion.” How about the concept of a. not jumping to conclusions without facts and b. encouraging peaceful response whatever the facts, condemning rioting?

Democrats seem to have completely abandoned all responsible responses to such incidents. But this isn’t new, it was in evidence all last year as they embraced the BLM despite the hundreds of riots, many deaths, hundreds of cops and others injured, and millions in damage. You can condemn bad shoots by the police while not embracing riots. Either Democrats don’t understand that or they seem to want to encourage the violent reaction. We even saw Kamala Harris and 13 Biden staffers contribute to a bail fund last year that was meant to help get rioters out of jail.
