Joe Biden has created a horrible situation at the border and it doesn’t look like he intends to do anything that will really rectify the problems anytime soon.
In addition to the danger to national security and the huge cost of dealing with all the illegal aliens flooding in, there’s also a tremendous humanitarian cost to the kids who are facing all kinds of dangers from human smuggling because of the enticement from the Biden White House, knowing that they are going to allow in unaccompanied minors.
That policy has caused an incredible increase in children coming in and is a boon to the smugglers who are making money hand over fist because of it. It’s also endangering the lives and safety of thousands of kids, many facing abuse or assault from the smugglers.
We’ve seen kids dropped from the top of the border wall by smugglers, for example, without regard to their safety and at least one child dying in the Rio Grande trying to cross.
Yesterday, the CBP found one poor little Nicaraguan boy who was about ten years old. He was abandoned by the group he came with near the border on a rural road near La Grulla, Texas. He was desperate for help from the CBP, terrified that he might be kidnapped by smugglers.

The CBP agent asks him, ‘You do not know where they are at? They left you alone?’
The little boy is crying and clearly terrified. ‘At the end they abandoned me. I have come here to ask you for help,’ he tearfully said. The agent asked him if he’d been told to ask for help of the CBP. The little boy said, “No, I am coming because if I did not, where am I going to go? Somebody could abduct me, kidnap me. I am scared.”
“On the morning of April 1, 2021, a Rio Grande City border patrol agent found a 10-year-old boy walking alone on a rural caliche road near La Grulla, Texas,” a spokesperson for CBP said in a statement to the Washington Examiner. “The young child, from Nicaragua, was distraught and crying after awakening and realizing he was left behind by the group of migrants he was traveling with. The agent transported the child to a Border Patrol facility where he was fed and medically screened. As with all unaccompanied alien children the border patrol encounters, he will be safely transferred to the custody of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Refugee Resettlement.”
“Scenes like these are all too common, as smugglers continue to abandon children in desolate areas, with zero regard for their well-being,” the statement continued.
This is the scary reality that Biden’s policies are creating, you can see it all in the face of this frightened little boy. We haven’t heard anything from Kamala Harris since she was appointed to deal with border issues.
