As we previously reported, the Biden team has now awarded an $86 million dollar contract to a nonprofit to house illegal alien families in hotel rooms for six months and provide “critical services” to 1200 people. As our friends at PJ Media observed, these illegal aliens will also get free food, medical care, and Wuhan coronavirus tests, paid for with our tax dollars.

So when the press had the opportunity to ask questions at the press briefing today, Psaki was asked how does she “square” the treatment providing the illegal aliens with hotel rooms with the National Guard sleeping on a garage floor during their breaks, not to mention having to eat contaminated food?

“How do you share that with the National Guard troops who were sleeping in parking garages and, you know, some of them got sick from having contaminated food. That’s a disparity that a lot of people are pointing out, that our National Guard was treated one way and then illegal immigrants are going to be put in hotel rooms,” Newsmax’s Emerald Robinson asked. Excellent question. The response? Not so excellent.

You can see Psaki start to twitch as Robinson is talking. You can almost read her mind, thinking well, what the heck am I going to say to this one? Psaki looked like she wanted to be anywhere but there and responded that Biden “called the head of the National Guard” and offered whatever assistance he could give.

“At the time when we became aware of the conditions the National Guard troops were in, in parking garages as you noted, the president called the head of the National Guard that day and offered his assistance, offered to play any role that he could play,” Psaki said. “I know that was some time ago, but that was the reaction he took at the time.” She then skipped to the next question without ever answering this one.

Can we say word salad? What’s the darn answer to the simple question? She didn’t even give the courtesy of a “circle back” on that one, although of course, she should have known that she would be asked about the hotel rooms and had the answer ready. Now, it should be noted that the Guard was actually sleeping in quarters, that they were made to sleep on the garage floor during their break periods. But what’s the rationale for the hotel rooms for illegal aliens? Psaki couldn’t be bothered to explain and apparently didn’t think we deserved an answer as to what was being done with our $86 million.

But it surely does show a difference in priorities, with the continual misuse of the National Guard and the bending over backward for illegal aliens.
