Right now, it’s primarily the states at the border who are having all the ‘fun’ of dealing with the flood of illegal aliens at the border. But if the Biden folks have their way, they want to spread that fun around to a few more states.

According to The Washington Post, the Biden team is considering flying some of the illegal aliens to states along the border with Canada and to coastal states. The CBP hasn’t decided what states to send them to yet.

Why? Because there are so many people flooding in, they’re trying to distribute them to Border Patrol facilities along the northern border to help with holding them while they are being processed, according to two DHS officials.

Border officials requested the air support from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement because 1,000 members of families and unaccompanied minors crossed the Rio Grande on Friday morning, and border agents have another 1,000 migrants they have been unable to process since last night, the communications show.

The air transport plan is the latest measure in the Biden administration’s scramble to contend with a widening emergency that officials say they do not view as a “crisis” but a “stressful challenge.”

The extraordinary volume of unauthorized border crossings in recent days has left the families and minors waiting hours outdoors, many under a bridge next to the river where CBP is operating a large outdoor processing station. The backups have been exacerbated by the more than 4,500 unaccompanied teenagers and children held in detention cells and border tent sites, a record number.

This during a pandemic when people are being discouraged from traveling, they’re going to fly these folks around the country.

This despite the DHS Secretary basically admitting that they haven’t had the ability to test people and weren’t testing people before releasing them into the local communities.

Other reports are indicating that a significant percentage of the illegal aliens are positive for the virus, the Sheriffs’ Association estimated it was between 5% and up to as much as 50%. Governor Greg Abbott said among the children being held at migrant facilities in Midland and Carizzo Springs that in each facility about 10% were positive.

There are apparently so many they are even returning some to Mexico under the Trump-era public health order that Biden had initially rejected.

Guess where some of that virus relief bill that was supposed to help Americans is going? Not to Americans but to solve this crisis of Biden’s own making.

On Thursday, the DHS said the Federal Emergency Management Agency would provide $110 million in funding to nonprofit groups and government agencies to help care for families and children crossing the southern border. The funds will come from $510 million in supplemental funding through the American Rescue Plan Act to “assist organizations in communities across the country dedicated to providing food, shelter and supportive services to people with economic emergencies, including our nation’s hungry and homeless populations,” FEMA said.
