NBC News says Todd will replace David Gregory as moderator of “Meet the Press.” He begins Sept. 7. NBC’s Chuck Todd is now trying to spin his deceptive presentation of Attorney General Bill Barr’s comments on the dismissal of the case against Michael Flynn.

Todd presented this dishonest attack on Barr.

Now Todd is arguing that he somehow was not aware of the full context, that he only saw an edited clip.

As my colleague Sister Toldjah explained, part of the problem was the liberal media was sharing an edited clip and attacking Barr over it. So Todd may have just gone off that.

So either he’s admitting he’s a lousy journalist (which is true) or he’s lying now that they got caught.

But either way it’s obvious that Bill Barr continued talking after the point they clipped.

So as Greg Price of the Daily Caller points out, the choices for them are not good. They’re either idiots and/or incredibly dishonest editors trying to twist Barr’s words.

How could Todd say Barr didn’t say anything about rule of law if he didn’t bother to listen to and/or include his words to that effect?

Either way, a pretty horrible look and another example of media like Todd throwing all honesty and standards under the bus for the quick and false hit on the Trump administration.
