CNN is normally anti-Trump.

But they seem in overdrive now, with not even covering the full briefings from the virus from the White House.

Last week, Don Lemon said that CNN shouldn’t cover the briefings in a crazy rant.

“It is all a plot! It is all orchestrated. And if you can’t see it, I don’t know what you’re looking at. It’s obvious, it’s transparent to me. This has become- those press briefings have become his new ‘Apprentice.’ They’ve become his new rallies. And he treats the press and the media as if he’s talking to the people at his rallies. It’s the same thing. It’s no different except the audience isn’t there.”

CNN then did decide not to cover the full briefings, thus putting narrative over informing the American people and letting them make their own judgments as to what they were seeing.

Just coincidentally, I’m sure, this came after polls showing that Americans approved of how President Donald Trump was handling the virus response and his approval ratings had gone up.

On Sunday, Jake Tapper demanded to know Trump’s “plan” for dealing with the virus, as though the president hadn’t been holding daily briefings telling Americans everyday about what was being done.

On Monday night, Anderson Cooper even accused Trump of “hijacking” his own meeting. How do you hijack your own meeting? But check out this objective reporting:

“If you tuned into it hoping you were going to hear from the country’s top scientists, you were likely disappointed,” Cooper began his anti-Trump rant. “What you mostly heard was the president. And what you saw was a hijacking. A hijacking of the task force press conference by a president determined to rewrite the history of his early and reprehensibly irresponsible response to this virus. What the president showed us today is what the nation’s top scientists have to deal with every day- a president who now uses these briefings as a reelection platform, an opportunity to lie, to deflect, to attack, to bully, and cover-up his own deadly dismissals of the virus for crucial weeks.”

No, no bias there at all. He should receive payment from the Democrats for the work he’s effectively doing for them?

Cooper than last night also tried this rant against the administration during a conversation with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.

But just like we said with Jake Tapper’s comment, here’s the thing. Maybe Cooper and Schumer would learn more if they actually listened to what was being said in the briefings rather than knocking them. They’re completely ignoring that there is a military person in charge of supply and ignoring what is being said every day.

The effort being put in is obviously very detailed. That’s why CNN could be showing so that people might understand.
