European Union Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker went out of his way during the Brexit campaign to put his foot in his mouth as establishment Britons tried to argue to remain in the EU.

Now he’s doing his best to make Europe look bad, and Donald Trump look better, after the Presidential election.

Hearing of Trump’s election, Juncker made some tough noises in Trump’s direction. Says BBC:

“We will need to teach the president-elect what Europe is and how it works,” Mr Juncker told a student audience in Luxembourg.

Intercontinental relations may be affected “in their foundation and in their structure”, he said.

Has someone explained to Juncker that Trump is in hock to Vladimir Putin, and hasn’t ruled out using nuclear weapons in Europe?

I don’t think Trump is scared at all by Juncker’s threats to teach him a lesson. Do you?
