President Donald Trump, Republican Party leaders, and Trump supporters across America celebrated the 100-day mark of Trump's second term at a rally in Warren, Michigan — a suburb of Detroit — on Tuesday. The event was attended by approximately 2,000 people.
Saying "Nothing will stop me," Trump declared in his speech:
We're here tonight in the heartland of our nation to celebrate the most successful first 100 days of any administration in the history of our country, and that's according to many, many people.
Trump rightly heralded his administration's successes of closing America's southern border, and "mass deportation" of illegal aliens after four years of former President Biden insisting (bald-faced lying) that he need congressional legislation to a secure a border that he intentionally flung open — while also lying along the way that the border was secure.
Trump also touted his sweeping tariffs — controversial in some quarters — while also declaring:
We’ve just gotten started. You haven’t even seen anything yet.
Meanwhile, the Democrat Party seemingly intentionally continues to burn itself to the ground.
The principal reason Democrats continue to self-destruct is because they don't have a valid answer to Trump's multiple successes — and every word they speak and action they take goes up in flames with them.
From incessantly trotting out "Hitler" and "constitutional crisis" at every concocted opportunity to staging ridiculous faux sit-ins to chanting ridiculous chants to singing ridiculous hippies-generation-sounding protest songs to deciding they weren't radical enough during the presidential election campaign, these poor TDS-riddled people simply don't have a clue.
Also on Tuesday, frustrated young Democrat voters told Fox News show "The Faulkner Focus" what they most like about Trump, "whether you like or dislike his policies."
Dominick, a college student who voted Democrat in 2024, told host Harris Faulkner and other panelists:
What I like most about Trump is that he’s doing what he said he was [going to] do, whether you like or dislike his policies. In the past, a lot of politicians said what the crowd in front of them wanted to hear and then did what they wanted to do. This president is doing exactly what he said in rapid speed.
Trump also tells his supporters what they want to hear, but the difference is he reminds them and the rest of the country that he's tackling and largely accomplishing most of the things he vowed to accomplish throughout the presidential campaign.
Andrew, another college-aged Democrat voter on the panel, shared his frustration about the recent past and perhaps future of the Democrat Party.
I think a big failure with the Democratic Party in recent elections is almost a calling to anoint a person, with 2016 clearing the field for Hillary, a similar thing to a lesser extent for Biden. And now with the most recent election with Kamala Harris. The last time that we had a truly open primary was, in my opinion, was in 2008. And look at what happened with Obama.
Yep, we sure saw what happened with Obama, Andrew — but we'll let that go, for now, and not digress.
Republican voter Maria, also on the panel, stressed the success of Trump's decisive actions with respect to illegal aliens.
I think everything that he has done has excelled beyond. I mean, we don't have anyone coming through the borders anymore. I think that was big for us.
While recent Fox News polling shows Trump receiving his strongest marks on border security, with 55 percent of respondents approving, new polling from the Harvard Kennedy School’s Institute of Politics shows his approval among 18 to 29-year-olds at 31 percent — virtually the same as from the start of his first term.

Finally, Mary Josephine, an independent on the panel, said Trump’s emphasis on restoring traditional family values stands out most to her, which she contrasted with the Biden presidency and described as cultural distractions over core issues like religious freedom.
The basic family structure isn’t something that is applauded any longer. I like the fact that Trump is trying to bring that to the forefront and make people feel comfortable again, just supporting their views, whatever they are.
You can go to school, and it's really difficult to say, if you believe, let's say something that the Bible says, and be forthcoming with it, because you're afraid of what the person next to you is going to say. ... too much emphasis on trans sports and DEI.
I've said it before, and this is a good time to say it again.
If Trump continues to deliver on pledges he made to the American people during the 2024 election campaign, doesn't get sidetracked by less important issues, and avoids or minimizes unforced errors, the Republican Party will be in a great position to begin its post-Trump era.
Has Trump been perfect in his first days? No.
Despite protestations to the contrary in some quarters, nobody is perfect, nobody is always right, and nobody delivers everything they say they're going to do or set out to do. That said, just think for a nanosecond where we'd likely be if Kamala Harris and her weird sidekick Tim Walz ran the show.
Perspective, gang.
