Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. should never have been president. Were it not for being tapped by Barack Obama as his vice presidential running mate in 2008, I doubt that he ever would have been.
While Biden served as a U.S. senator representing Delaware from 1973 until the 2009 inauguration, the outspoken blowhard unsuccessfully sought the Democrat presidential nomination in 1984, 1988, and 2008. Throughout his decades in D.C. politics, Biden told multiple lies — large and small — and was also caught plagiarizing the speeches of others, including British politician Neil Kinnock, President John F. Kennedy, and Robert F. Kennedy.
In 1987, then-Sen. Biden admitted he had plagiarized a Law Review article during his first year in law school. Joe's explanation? He claimed he "made a mistake." Uh-huh, Joe — sure you did. Your only mistake was getting caught.
During the 2020 presidential campaign, Obama wisely admonished a fellow Democrat not to "underestimate Joe's ability to f*** things up."
Little did Obama know that Biden would do just that — for four disastrous years — much of it intentionally so.
In a word, Biden entered the presidency with a chip on his shoulder, and he will bitterly leave office on Monday with a mountain on his shoulder that he will likely carry with him until he dies.
From his irrational loathing of President-elect Donald Trump to his newfound bitterness against former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who he blames for engineering the coup that forced him to abandon his 2024 presidential campaign — which he continues to claim (lie) that he willingly decided to do on his own — Biden couldn't be more bitter.
In a delusional, fact-defying letter released by the White House on Wednesday, prior to Biden's dark Wednesday night farewell address to the nation, he made ridiculous claim after ridiculous claim about the many "accomplishments" of his failed presidency, including that he created "the strongest economy in the world," "brought back manufacturing jobs to America," "rebuilt our entire nation," and other such nonsensical pipe dreams.
The above begs the question: If the Biden-Harris regime accomplished anything even close to Biden's long list of claims, why did Harris and down-ballot Democrat candidates get shellacked in November? The question is rhetorical, of course.

Toss in Biden's vacant cognitive state, and you almost have to feel sorry for the guy. Nah, just kidding.

An AP/VoteCast survey of Americans who cast votes in November found that three out of 10 voters reported “falling behind’’ financially in recent years and that an extraordinary 90 percent of voters were "somewhat worried" or "very worried" about the seemingly ever-rising cost of groceries. Moreover, 80 percent of respondents were concerned about the cost of health care, housing and gasoline.
Yeah, Joe did that — to Obama's 2020 point.
While no president is entirely responsible for the success or failure of the U.S. economy, Biden intentionally continued to add trillions of dollars in deficit spending to the federal budget, even after alarms continued to sound about surging inflation. Yet all Biden did was continue to lie about the "strength" of the economy during his tenure.
What's the old saying? Continuing to do the same thing over and over and expecting different results is the definition of insanity? Yeah, that.
The Bottom Line
The truth is Biden and the Democrats were and still remain far more interested in massive wealth redistribution policies than the financial stability of the U.S. economy. Why? Because everything Democrats support or oppose can be connected to the ballot box with no more than two dots.
Anyway, the good news for Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. as he finally walks off into the political sunset is that he likely won't remember any of it. Except for his delusional beliefs, that is.
