In the movie "As Good As It Gets," Greg Kinnear's character, Simon, tells Jack Nicholson's character, Melvin: "The best thing you have going for you is your willingness to humiliate yourself."
I hate to say that quote reminds me of the vice president of the United States, but that quote reminds me of the vice president of the United States.
Yes, Kamala Harris's "oratorical skills," to be kind, leave a bit to be desired.
Harris once again put those "skills" on display on Wednesday as she tried to explain Israel's war against Hamas, which began after the terrorist organization's horrific October 7 surprise attack in the Jewish state that left more than 1,300 Israeli men, women, and children (including infants) brutally murdered — some of whom were reportedly raped and/or tortured to death.
While yet another "word salad," for which she's laughably infamous, predictably came out of Harris's mouth, her nonsensical effort to sound all intellectual and stuff also confirmed Joe Biden and his administration's efforts to all but throw Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu under the bus in favor of the "Palestinians" in Gaza — in a blatant effort to secure the Muslim American vote in the November presidential election.

Ladies and gentlemen, Madam Vice President, on the war in Gaza:
This subject is one that, sadly I say, has — there's an appetite a lot of people have for it to be binary, as though it's one thing or the other, when in fact many things are true at the same time.
I'm surprised she didn't trot out a Venn diagram for further "clarity."

Translation:
So here's the thing. This is a tough one for the Democrat Party. I'm sure you understand. To be frank, we're between a rock and a hard place. On one hand, we have to pander to Jewish American voters, who inexplicably continue to overwhelming vote Democrat — despite our decades of throwing Israel under the bus at every opportunity.
On the other hand, Joe and I need the pro-Hamas, pro-Palestinian vote in November if we're to have a chance in hell of winning the election. I mean, what would you do if you were us? See what I mean? I mean, we're screwed either way.
And that's exactly where Joe Biden and his equally hypocritical party now find themselves.
I pity poor Kamala (not really), and the position in which embattled Joe Biden has put her, given that he's said far worse throughout Israel's nearly five-month-long war against Hamas.
Most recently, as reported by my colleague Nick Arama, Biden announced during his angry March 7 screamfest — State of the Union speech — that the United States (U.S. Armed Forces) will be involved in a "mission" to build a "temporary port" in Gaza to receive food supplies and other needs for civilians.
Just one problem: Hamas has a nasty habit of stealing such supplies at gunpoint.
Even untold numbers of Democrats are opposed to the embattled president's overall handling of Israel's right to defend itself, including Bibi Netanyuhu's commitment to destroy Hamas.
The Bottom Line
Yes, Joe Biden and the Democrat Party are between a rock and a hard place indeed.
While Biden's proved he's more than capable of screwing it up all by himself, Kamala Harris's "words of wisdom" don't help a damn bit. I know — try to control your shock and amazement.
