This is just the beginning, America. And it’s a disastrous beginning, at that.
As we reported late Friday night, frazzled House Speaker Nancy Pelosi finally scraped together enough votes to pass the bipartisan $1.2 trillion “infrastructure” bill, after Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and her fellow Squad comrades announced they would vote against the legislation.
Fortunately for Pelosi and the Democrats, 13 Republicans helped push the vote over the top, as we wrote earlier.
As expensive as the bill is, Democrats hope to do even more damage to America as we know it, without bipartisan support, through the reconciliation process by bypassing a Senate filibuster later this month.
Next up on the tee, as the Biden Border Crisis continues unabated, Democrats are eyeing Biden’s $1.75 trillion Build Back Better Act, and along with it, sweeping changes to U.S. immigration law, including amnesty for illegal immigrants. As reported by MarketWatch, lawmakers “promised” to vote on the “social and environment bill” by the week of Nov. 15. Last night’s vote was a major step in that direction.
The socialists’ $1.75 trillion spending dream addresses a wide range of pet issues, the majority of which have zero to do with infrastructure. Buried deep in the bill are, as Just the News described, “a series of provisions which, if signed into law, would amount to a windfall for illegal immigrants.”
Build Back Better includes provisions that incentivize illegal immigration using BILLIONS of taxpayer dollars.
I joined @RepChipRoy and Republican reps from all 4 of the SW Border states to demand my Democrat colleagues remove these detrimental policies. https://t.co/sZQTnvOUe5

Many of the provisions would affect significant changes in the U.S. immigration system — funded by taxpayers. Speaking of which, as we reported on Friday, a new study by the Wharton School of Business destroyed Biden’s nonsensical claim that his “Build Back Better” plan would cost taxpayers “zero dollars” and add “zero dollars” to the national debt. On the contrary, it would potentially increase new spending by $3.98 trillion — while revenue would only increase by $1.56 trillion.
Amnesty for millions of illegal aliens?
Having been twice rebuffed in their effort to include amnesty in the bill — a so-called “path to citizenship” for millions of illegal aliens — House Democrats finally unveiled “Plan C,” as noted by Just the News, which relies on a process known as advance parole to protect illegal immigrants from deportation and grant them the ability to obtain work permits.
Advance parole would waive immigration requirements for illegals who have been living in the U.S. before 2011, and beneficiaries of the change could then apply for a five-year extension.
Illegal aliens in the country prior to Jan. 1, 2011, could be given up to 10 years of work authorization. According to the Center for American Progress, this would benefit more than seven million illegal immigrants; which the Democrat Party, of course, sees as nothing more than seven million potential Democrat voters.
Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, was pleased with Friday’s agreement, describing it as the Democrats’ “best option for getting past the parliamentarian.” Fighting for “you,” America.
But there’s more.
Right after the House opened for session this morning, we blasted the Biden Administration’s crazy plan to pay illegal aliens for entering our country – then moved to ADJOURN to try to stop the vote on the Democrats Big Gov’t Socialist scam bills. Votes are being recorded now… pic.twitter.com/wH2wmxKpOK

Robert Law, director of regulatory affairs and policy for the Center for Immigration Studies, as transcribed by Just the News, sees the Democrat scheme for what it is — more than just amnesty for illegals.
“Through ‘Build Back Better,’ Democrats are trying to give some form of amnesty to millions of illegal aliens, make illegal alien students eligible for subsidized in-state tuition, and make illegal alien children eligible for tax credits that used to be limited to American children.”
Current law, according to Mr. Law, prohibits “undocumented” students from being granted in-state tuition unless U.S. citizens are offered the same rate regardless of where they’re from. But Biden’s Build Back Better Act would strike this provision, meaning an illegal alien in Virginia, for example, would pay less to attend the University of Virginia than a U.S. citizen from Maryland.
The Democrat objective is to grant in-state tuition to illegal aliens without restrictions.
In addition, noted Just for News, Democrats also want to eliminate social security number requirements, which are currently used to prove eligibility for child tax credits. If passed, the change would provide roughly a million illegal alien children with such benefits.
Here are two other provisions with massive implications, as noted by Just the News:
- Allowing the government to tap unused visas from past fiscal years to admit more people into the country. While this would primarily affect legal immigration, it wouldn’t exclude illegal aliens, millions of whom would be eligible for green cards if they were allowed to stay through advance parole.
- Elimination of restrictions on the ability of major corporations to bring in foreign workers. Many of these employers, such as Google and Facebook, already exploit legal loopholes to allow temporary workers here on H-1B visas to remain in the U.S. permanently. Critics argue that such actions hurt American workers — and that the reconciliation bill would make things worse.
Oops — I almost forgot.
Here’s how much money the Build Back Better Act includes for enhancing border security:
ZERO.
