DeSantis Blasts Republican 'Boneless Wonders,' Totally Destroys 'Fake News' Media

Yes, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is a man on a mission. Moreover, the popular Florida governor doesn’t suffer fools gladly — be those fools his fellow Republicans, left-wing loons, or anywhere in between.

A fired-up DeSantis went full metal attack mode at a Washington, D.C., Republican dinner on Tuesday night, effectively telling spineless Republican politicians to get hop aboard the train — or get the hell out of the way. “We don’t have time for boneless wonders,” he said.

Even better, DeSantis blistered the “fake news” media, beginning with the never-ending “Russian collusion” nonsense in the 2016 presidential election win of Donald Trump, as transcribed by BizPac Review.

“You’ve got a press that for over two years created a fake conspiracy theory involving Russian collusion. I was in Congress when that started. I was only one of a handful of people who knew that was BS from the beginning. But they did it. And they milked it. And was all because they disagreed with the outcome of the 2016 election.”

The hood ornament of the Democrat Russian collusion car was the intrepid Rep. Adam Schiff of California, the darling of the fake new media at the time. Schiff incessantly trotted out to eagerly waiting TV cameras, time after time, promising smoking gun after smoking gun that he never produced.

DeSantis also tore into those in the media who continue to complain about those who continue to complain about the 2020 election results.

“They talked about complaining about 2020? They never accepted Donald Trump. They created and manufactured a conspiracy theory to try to drive him out office and to kneecap him and his presidency and we know it was false. We know that there was no truth to it.”

Toss in stage 4 TDS-riddled House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and it was clear from the outset that these people were never going to give Trump a break, much less a win, even if it meant spending some of their own political capital, which they did — behaving like sore-ass losers in the process — hell yes, they did.

DeSantis almost demanded an apology from the lapdog media, knowing full well an apology will never come, thus providing the Florida governor license to keep the Democrat sock puppets on full blast:

“Have any of them actually apologized? Heck, have any of them even said, ‘We were wrong about that.’? No, they give each other awards. They actually award Pulitzer Prizes for reporting false stories.”

“So that’s where we are,” DeSantis said, “They gaslight. They display partisanship. They smear people. It’s all to create a blizzard of lies, trying to blind the American people from the actual truth. And so we live in Orwellian times in which the powers that be want to tell us that up is down and left is right.”

DeSantis was just getting started.

He then began to admonish Republicans to, in the vernacular, grow a pair; to stand against the Democrat media and the radical left, as they work hand-in-glove in their shared effort to destroy America as we know it, from the southern border to America’s classrooms, to the Obamaesque effort to once again destroy the U.S. military — this time by spending more time worrying about Critical Race Theory, systemic racism, and ridiculousness about so-called “insurrectionists,” than maintaining U.S. strategic superiority over China and its stated goal to ultimately dominate the world.

“And when a society like ours is veering away from the truth like we are, those that stand up and tell truth will face fire. That type of society goes after the truth-tellers more than anything because they understand those who tell the truth represent a threat to their power.

“So in times like these, there is no substitute for courage. Courage in the face of a dishonest press. Courage to stare down things like cancel culture. Courage to speak up for those in America, many of whom don’t have a voice.”

DeSantis then told a fascinating story about Winston Churchill and the once-prime minister’s story about appeasement in 1930s Europe when he was in the Parliament. Churchill talked about when he was a kid and the Barnum & Bailey Circus was in town, and there was an act that was “too grotesque for human eyes” called the “boneless wonder.” His nanny wouldn’t let him go see it, DeSantis said.

“I think now,” DeSantis recounted Churchill saying, “‘where is this boneless wonder?’ It’s no longer in the circus,’ Churchill said, ‘it’s in the front row of the House of Commons.’”

“’These are people that weren’t standing up against Adolf Hitler,’” DeSantis recounted Churchill saying.

Then from the Florida governor:

“So right now conservatives, we don’t have time for boneless wonders. You get elected to office, you need to be willing to stand up. Stand up against the press.  You stand up strong and you’re strong in your convictions.

“There are millions and millions of people out there that will be with you forever. The minute you go up there and you’re scared of the media, you’re scared they’re going to say bad things about you, and you cave. Voters have no use for you after that.”

That, ladies and gentlemen, is why the Democrat Party, CNN, MSNBC, and the rest of the liberal media lapdogs are terrified of the governor of the Sunshine State. They might react with rage, condescension, or dismissal, but down inside, they wet their panties when Ron DeSantis goes Ron DeSantis on them.
