Hillary Clinton might still be bitter about an election she swears to this day was stolen from her by the Russians — at Donald Trump’s behest, of course — but when it comes to daughter Chelsea, if there were ever a chip off the old block, Chelsea is definitely her mama’s daughter.
No doubt Grandma was grinning ear-to-ear on Friday, as she watched “Chels” virtue signal herself silly during a “Women for Biden” video conference call with Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) — one of Congress’s Leftist “Squad” members — as she waxed “progressively” about how she and her husband are raising their three young children.
Any guesses as to what the topic was? The history of voter suppression of women, and how it exists to this day. Shocked? Me, neither.
Being the good progressive mom she is, the former first daughter boasted to the black congresswoman about how responsibly she is teaching her kids about women’s rights — minority women’s rights — and how “fundamentally incomplete” they remain in America.
“My children are young, but we believe that they’re young, but still citizens. So we talked about the ratification of the 19th Amendment, and Women’s Equality Day, and about how fundamentally incomplete that victory was. So not to say it wasn’t a victory and it wasn’t important, but that it was so fundamentally flawed.”
Incidentally, Chelsea’s daughter Charlotte is 5, son Aidan is 4, and her other son, Jasper, is 1. And Chelsea talks to them about the ratification of the 19th Amendment, and how fundamentally incomplete it remains. Sure she does. No — I mean it; sure she does.
Can someone please call Child Protective Services?
I mean, c’mon, Chels — how ’bout you let these kids be kids for a while? You know, before you begin the indoctrination program that mom and dad dropped on you — obviously very successfully.
It got worse (bolded font, mine).
“It wasn’t only black women who didn’t have the right to vote, indigenous and Native American women didn’t have the right to vote until the 1920s.
Even then, so many of the voting rights cases have actually disenfranchised indigenous and Native American women. These fights are not just in our history books; there are still active, ongoing fights. […]
I think it’s really important that my children understand that, and I think it is particularly important that they understand that white children are privileged, because I want them to erode that privilege — throughout their lives to ensure more people are enfranchised, and that equality isn’t just an ideal.”
Of course Pressley heaped glowing praise on Chelsea for her profound wisdom, which she compared to that of her mother.
“You’re really modeling that which my mother certainly believed, which is that a parent is a child’s first teacher. And I so appreciate that you’re providing that full education because we know that often there is a revisionist history or a sanitizing or filtering of history that does not tell the whole story.”
That “revisionist history” is the product of the Left.
All one need do is wander into downtown Portland some evening, or listen to the words of the mob surrounding the White House on Thursday night, or for that matter, flip on (then off) CNN or MSNBC.
Nonetheless, Pressley parroted the mantra about “confronting the past” — translation: tear down monuments, stop teaching history in public school, and continue to preach that America is a racist country, immersed in “white privilege” and lorded over by “white supremacists” like Donald Trump.
“But confronting that past, that’s really how we get to truth and reconciliation. And we fortify ourselves to continue to do the work to make sure that we are dismantling those barriers that still exist and that we are in a cooperative affront to the voter suppression and intimidation tactics that are still very real today — what I would consider, equivalent to like modern-day jelly bean counting.”
And the echo chamber echoes on.
Meanwhile, Chelsea’s mom has been pretty busy herself, of late.
As I wrote on Friday in a piece titled Huffy Hillary Howls at Moon Over Trump’s ‘Law-Breaking Convention’ — But Was It?, Hillary railed about the “law-breaking” Republican National Convention.
“What we saw last night sums up so much of the Trump administration. A law-breaking convention on your dime, on the lawn of your house, to celebrate a president like a king for overseeing the needless deaths of 180, ooo Americans—and counting.”

Read my Friday piece about the “illegal” convention. Spoiler: It wasn’t.
And in a Wednesday piece titled Hillary Clinton Reveals the Democratic Plan and says Biden ‘Should Not Concede Under Any Circumstances’, my RedState colleague Nick Arama reported on Hillary’s detached-from-reality admonition to Biden not to concede the election to Trump under any circumstances.
Hillary Clinton has some advice for Joe Biden: Don’t concede in a close race.

Hillary and Chelsea. Like mother, like daughter.
Or in Chelsea’s case, like mommy, like three little kids.
I’m sure there’s a “Mommy Dearest” comparison in here somewhere, but I think I’ve said enough. For now, that is.
