It has become glaringly obvious that power-players in the United States and the United Kingdom are collaborating to push AI regulation onto the public before people even have time to think.
Their preferred form of propaganda is a familiar one: Fear-mongering. Lots and lots of fearmongering.
Now, we get a Netflix documentary on Artificial Intelligence designed to scare the living hell out of the public.
Coincidence? Let's take a look at this incredible timing.
Westerners have been inundated with apocalyptic warnings for decades now, and it all leads to one thing: More centralized government control over our lives.
So, when the receipts start piling up tying big AI firms like Anthropic and OpenAI to the latest onslaught of AI Doomerism, we have to start asking questions.
Questions like: Are we getting played?
On Tuesday, Netflix dropped the documentary "The AI Apocaloptimist Doc." It is shamelessly plugged as "the most urgent film of our time."
It is already available for streaming, but will also be in theaters on March 27.
The film is directed by Oscar-winner Daniel Roher (Navalny) who co-directs with Charlie Tyrell. Here is a list of who is directly involved in the film:

These are some of the biggest names behind the AI Doomer movement. We have broken down how government regulation benefits these Big Tech companies elsewhere.
This doesn't look like a "documentary" so much as corporatist propaganda. The critical thing to note here is that this has been in production for three years. And when did it come out? Just now.
When multiple bills on Artificial Intelligence, including Bernie Sanders' (I-VT) Senate bill to "ban superintelligence" and a House "kill switch" bill proposed by Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA), hit the Congressional floor.

But you can add one to the list: The Senate "kill switch" bill. That's right. Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) is introducing the bill any day now.
Sen. John Kennedy plans to introduce a bill that would require companies to build a “kill switch” into their artificial intelligence models, he told reporters. It comes as pressure mounts on Congress to regulate the risky technology and tech leaders call for an industry slowdown.
The Louisiana Republican intends to introduce the bill under unanimous consent Wednesday. “That’s the only way you’re going to get anything done, we’re not going to get anything done for the next two and a half weeks,” he said. There are currently no cosponsors for the bill.
Now, the production crew originally targeted a production window of 8 months to 12 months, but the studio explained that it kept pushing the release date because of 'changes in technology.'
That's a great explanation. Another one is that the major AI Doomer players are highly involved in this production process and this release date looks on its surface to be politically timed.
Because not only are AI bigwigs begging for the government to "regulate me harder" — when nobody is stopping them from restraining themselves — major Democrat players like Barack Obama are on the forefront of this campaign.
As I noted in a recent VIP article, Barack Obama had a "closed-door" meeting whose details were conspicuously leaked to friendly media outlets.
Last Thursday at a private Democratic fundraiser in a conversation with House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Obama said AI is moving very fast in private hands and “if we don’t get on top of it, I think can be dangerous.”
“Once you are speaker, I would strongly urge that the Democrats put together a framework for a very public conversation, and you can break it out into three or four or five issues and lay the foundation for a broad public conversation," he also reportedly said.
“If I were running for president next year, this would be one of my central agendas, and I would have a very clear plan, and I would talk about this, and I would say, ‘Here’s our plan for safety, here’s our plan for making sure our kids are not corrupted by this.’ … I would be thinking about the economic impacts in very concrete ways and understanding what does it mean if there’s going to be job displacement.”
If there is one thing that is encouraging in terms of balance it is that President Donald Trump is calling this propaganda campaign out in no uncertain terms, as is Vice President J.D. Vance
"We already have tremendous CRIMINAL and REGULATORY power over these companies!" he wrote. "There is a SICK conspiracy going on against AI and Data Centers, and the only one that is happy about it is China. WHOEVER WINS AI, WINS!"
"We are leading China, and all others, and will continue to do so," Trump added. "Conspiracy Theorists, Treasonists, Traitors, and Leakers, BEWARE!"
But you know who else is holding a "closed-door meeting"? King Charles. He is hosting the major AI players in Scotland this week.

The summit at Dumfries House lands days after Anthropic chief executive Dario Amodei published an essay on 12 September arguing the industry must deliberately slow the pace at which AI grows more capable. Within a day, two of his fiercest rivals agreed.
Sam Altman of OpenAI and Elon Musk of xAI both publicly endorsed Amodei's call. Altman wrote that OpenAI needs to 'pace the frontier' and would open its systems to independent evaluators, a topic he said the company had debated for weeks. Musk's reply was blunter. 'Dario is right,' he wrote.

This is a Uniparty onslaught. We've seen this kind of apocalyptic propaganda blitz before.
It doesn't seem like a coincidence that global warming madness is fading during this all-out push to build datacenters. When the climate hoax became tired and the elites started losing profitability, it is obvious they switched to a new one.
