Planned Parenthood Donations In Pence's Name Prove They Don't Need Federal Funds

Donald Trump’s election victory is causing fear to spread among the abortion industry.

With approximately two months to go until inauguration day, Planned Parenthood and its supporters are panicking, and proving exactly why the country’s largest abortion provider is not actually in need of taxpayer funds.

President-elect Trump has already called for the defunding of Planned Parenthood. On top of that, Vice President-elect Pence has been and continues to be a nightmare for the abortion industry. The hyper-emotional response from pro-aborts as these men prepare to head to Washington has been delightful to see.

One such stunt they’re pulling is donating to Planned Parenthood in Mike Pence’s name.

A grassroots idea to donate to Planned Parenthood in Vice President-Elect Mike Pence‘s name has spread since the election. The social media campaign encourages citizens to show their support for women’s rights by donating “in honor” of the Indiana governor, who has infamously tried to defund the non-profit organization. For each donation, he receives a thank-you certificate.

Planned Parenthood confirmed that it has received 20,000 contributions in Pence’s name since the election. According to the Indianapolis Star, there have been 160,000 donations to Planned Parenthood in the last week — 12.5 percent in the name of Pence.

Several celebrities donated to Planned Parenthood in the seven days since the election, including Katy Perry(who gave $10,000), and Amy Schumer and Amber Tamblyn, who said they donated in Pence’s name.

How convenient! With so many private donations coming in, it looks as if Planned Parenthood doesn’t need Federal funding after all. Anger at the Trump/Pence win is causing donations to explode, and should keep their purses full.

In fact, Planned Parenthood has so much money on hand that they spent $38 million on campaigns this year to put Hillary in the White House and pro-abort candidates in Congress. Remember, this organization receives $500 million from the United States government.

Besides being flush with cash, pro-aborts are ignorant of how government actually works.

Gross.

Vice President-elect Pence won’t be regulating your uterus, honey. If anything, President Trump will sign legislation which may affect abortion and contraceptive funding. Even then, your precious services won’t be disappearing. Your neighbors just might not be paying for them.

It is imperative that Trump and the Republican-controlled Congress work together from day one to pass necessary measures. Neither branch has any excuse once January 20, 2017 arrives. There should be no dragging of feet, laying aside principles in attempts to compromise, or focusing on mid-term elections. They have two years to push through conservative measures at the national level.

One area they must tackle is the defunding of Planned Parenthood. PP alone performs over 330,000 abortions per year. While overturning Roe v. Wade may not occur any time soon (or ever), Congress and President-elect Trump will have the power to strip funding from one of abortion’s loudest disciples.

I’m sure all the post-donation thank-you certificates Pence has been receiving from Planned Parenthood only reinforce his resolve to finally cut their cash.

So thank you, pro-abort women. And get ready to fund your own uterus.
